Donna Kelce says Super Bowl is ‘pricey’ and feels she would be in the stands with 'everybody else'

KANSAS, MISSOURI: Donna Kelce is no stranger to the Super Bowl, but she doesn’t expect to get a luxury seat this year next to Taylor Swift.

Her son Travis Kelce is playing for the Kansas City Chiefs who are aiming for their second consecutive NFL title.

Donna Kelce told Today on February 7 that she is thrilled to see Travis compete for another Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs.

The team will face the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11. "I really am. It is going to be a dream to go back to back like this, back to the Super Bowl. And (I’m) really excited,” she said.

Last year, Donna Kelce became a viral sensation when she watched Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, battle for the NFL crown. The Chiefs won the game, 38-35.

Donna Kelce says she tries to connect with her sons before their games

Donna Kelce said she usually tries to reach out to her sons before their games, but she knows they are busy on game day.

“I try not to bother them on game day because they’re a little busy and I don’t think I’m going to get through, but usually I try,” she said.

“Like, the night before, I will text my sons and will give them a little encouragement, send them a little funny picture of when they were younger, depending on what team they’re playing with or whatever. I go back and get a little nostalgia,” she added.

Donna Kelce updates her Facebook cover photo with Taylor Swift

Donna Kelce also made headlines last week when she changed her Facebook cover photo to include a group picture that featured her and Travis’ girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift.

She said the photo was taken after the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship two weeks ago.

“That was a picture where all of us were so excited that were in the suite and we were so excited that they made it to the Super Bowl that we took a shot of everybody that was there, so it wasn’t anything calculating or anything like that,” she said.

“It was just everybody that was supporting my son and I was so happy to put that picture on Facebook, yes,” she added.

On being asked if she tried selfies with Taylor Swift, 'Mama Kelce' said," I have tried a few here and there." 

Donna Kelce has a feeling she would be in the stands at the Super Bowl

Donna was asked by the host about the seating arrangement stating they usually see her Taylor Swift in the box.

Donna Kelce replied she doesn’t think she will get a suite seat at the Super Bowl, given the high demand and cost of the tickets.

“You can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multimillion dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box,” she said, laughing.

“I have a feeling I am in the stands. As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl," PageSix also reported.
