Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin turning to ‘jokes and fun’ to cope with trespassing ‘trauma’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dylan Sprouse and his wife, Barbara Palvin, are turning to humor to deal with the “trauma” they endured when an alleged intruder attempted to break into their Hollywood Hills home over the weekend.
The couple made their first public appearance since the incident to attend the New York premiere of ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ on Monday, April 20. Speaking to reporters, the duo opened up about their feelings in the aftermath of the harrowing event.

When asked how they are navigating through the situation, Palvin told E! News, “Dealing with the trauma with jokes and fun.”
Meanwhile, Sprouse added, “I thought it was funny.” He further shared, “I'm really — this is actually to my detriment — but, I'm really not a ‘too soon' guy in general. We're laughing about things the moment they happen.”
“You gotta have levity in life,” the ‘Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ continued. “And thankfully, no one was hurt, and there was no more violence than what happened, and so it's all okay,” he stated.
Palvin echoed a similar sentiment, saying, “We're just happy to be here to watch the movie.”

Dylan Sprouse held the intruder at gunpoint before help arrived
Palvin first spotted a “creepy guy” at their Los Angeles residence on Friday, April 17, while at home with Sprouse, per the Los Angeles Times. She reportedly made a 911 call at approximately 12:30 a.m. to report the trespassing.
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Sprouse confronted the intruder, tackled him to the ground and held him at gunpoint until cops arrived. The publication also mentioned that the person failed to make it inside the house and confirmed that no one was injured.
While the suspect was taken into custody on outstanding warrants, Sprouse and Palvin did not want him booked on charges of trespassing. The identity of the suspect has not been revealed to the public by authorities.

Sprouse and Palvin first met at a party in 2017 and sparked romance rumors a year later in 2018. Speculation surrounding their relationship began after Sprouse reportedly shared a photo of the pair in Russia during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in a now-deleted Instagram post.
The Hungarian model eventually appeared to confirm the relationship by sharing a post for Sprouse’s birthday. The duo eventually got engaged in 2023 and tied the knot that same year.
They got married in July 15, 2023, in Hungary, at Palvin's parents property. An intimate ceremony, with around 115 guests took place inside a church in Albertirsa.
