Dylan Sprouse reveals how he and wife Barbara Palvin first met: 'She cut me in line'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Soulmates Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin seem to be all over the headlines thanks to their adorable love story.

Now Sprouse has shared the real story of how he and his wife met. The former Disney star also revealed the exact moment he knew he fell head over heels for the model.

For those unaware, the pair has been together for nearly a decade and is now all set to become parents of a baby girl.

Appearing on Amanda Hirsch’s 'Not Skinny but Not Fat' podcast on Tuesday, August 4, the 'The Suite Life of Zack & Cody' star debunked the "myth" of how he met his wife.

While it's true that sparks flew after Sprouse messaged the model in 2017, the actor recalled an earlier interaction that left him smitten. 

“We met in person at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party, and she cut me in line for the red carpet. Totally like a rom-com, she just jumps over the red velvet divider and cuts me,” he explained.

“And I was like, ‘I don’t care how pretty you are, you’re not cutting me.’ And she turns around, and I’m wearing this red and white striped shirt, and she goes, ‘What, are you a hot dog vendor?’” he recalled. "It was that simple," the 34-year-old added. 

The actor recalled saying, "Wait by the door" to Palvin. Later that night, he messaged her to talk more about that night. To which she replied, "Hey, I’m still here by the door. Are you coming or not?” Sproud clearly remembered he felt "flirtatious" while speaking to her that night.

Sprouse and Palvin tied the knot on July 15, 2023, at the model's family estate in Hungary. During many paparazzi appearances, Palvin corrected her surname and even laughed about it. Recently, the couple announced that they are expecting their first baby. 

On the 'Wildmen Podcast', Palvin shared that her mental health went to the toss during her first trimester: “The number on the scale really going up super quick and my arms are getting bigger. You don’t have a bump yet, but your stomach is bigger, and your pants don’t fit. I started spiraling.”

The 32-year-old praised Sprouse, called him "a good partner" and said he helped her ease her mental struggle. “Dylan was there reminding me every single time that we’re creating life," she added.
