WASHINGTON, DC: Elon Musk, once Donald Trump’s loudest cheerleader, went on a posting spree Wednesday afternoon, July 16, absolutely torching the president over his latest Epstein-related claims.

What set him off was Trump’s assertion that the infamous “Epstein Files” are nothing but a hoax cooked up by the left.

Musk wasn't buying any of it.

Elon Musk mocks Trump over Epstein files

Musk wasted no time pulling receipts. “Wow, amazing that Epstein ‘killed himself’ and Ghislaine is in federal prison for a hoax,” he posted.

In a follow-up post minutes later, Musk pointed out, “Not a single Epstein client has been prosecuted. Not even one.” It was just the beginning of what turned into a 13-post barrage in barely an hour, all centered around Epstein, Trump, and insinuations of a cover-up.

Elon’s main gripe is that nobody has been held accountable, despite Maxwell serving time and endless speculation about Epstein’s alleged high-profile “client list.”

“So many powerful people want that list suppressed,” Musk wrote, responding to a post that hinted at the sheer scale of the alleged cover-up.

Back in February, Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed the list was on her desk and ready for review. But later, Trump’s own team insisted no such list exists.

But the idea refuses to die, especially among those who once considered Trump the one man who’d blow the lid off it all.

Elon Musk once claimed Trump was in the Epstein files

Things between Musk and Trump have been icy since their public split in early June. The billionaire previously claimed that Trump himself was named in the “Epstein Files.”

“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files,” Musk posted at the time. “That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

He added, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”

Of course, the White House quickly shut that down and called the accusation completely false. Musk ended up deleting the post a few days later and apologized for having "gone too far," but the damage was done.

MAGA is fuming over Epstein files

A leaked DOJ and FBI memo claimed there is no "client list" per se. The White House backed the memo, begging people to move on and stop chasing shadows around Epstein’s crimes.

But Trump’s base is not ready to let it go. Right-wing conspiracy king Alex Jones even called the whole thing a “trainwreck,” and some die-hard supporters have reportedly gone as far as torching their red MAGA hats in protest.

Meanwhile, the ghost of Epstein’s friendship with Trump is still haunting the administration. Audio from the Daily Beast last fall revealed Epstein once referred to Trump as his “closest friend.” The pair have partied back in the day, regularly showing up together in New York and Palm Beach during the '90s and early 2000s.

That said, despite pressure from the White House, Musk is now making it clear he’s not done rattling the Epstein cage.

On Wednesday, he replied to influencer Kaizen Asiedu, who called out Trump’s Epstein flip-flop.

“Trump indicated he’d release the Epstein files. Trump’s team hyped the release. Trump’s team fumbled the release. Yet Trump is blaming the Democrats and insulting his supporters for the consequences of his actions," Asiedu wrote.

Musk responded, “The old: 1. Admit nothing 2. Deny everything 3. Make counterclaims. But it won’t work this time.”
