Eric Trump fires back after Natalie Harp's estranged brother's claims about his dad on CNN
WASHINGTON, DC: Eric Trump has jumped into the growing controversy surrounding his father’s close aide Natalie Harp, publicly defending her while taking a sharp swipe at her estranged brother, Preston Harp.
Eric responded Wednesday morning, August 19, after Preston appeared on CNN’s ‘OutFront’ with Erin Burnett on Tuesday night to discuss his sister’s close relationship with President Donald Trump.
Eric did not hold back about the interview, calling it “absolute trash” before turning his attention to Natalie and praising her work around the president.

Eric Trump praises Natalie Harp after brother’s CNN appearance
In his response, Eric described Natalie as an “incredible young woman” and highlighted her status as a cancer survivor.
He also praised her dedication to Trump, her job and the country, calling her “arguably one of the hardest-working people in the White House.”
But Eric’s message quickly turned personal when he took a direct shot at Preston.
“From the looks of it, she got all the family genetics,” Eric wrote.
He ended his message by taking another swipe at CNN, writing, “CNN continues to be a joke.”
Preston Harp questioned Natalie Harp’s bond with Donald Trump
Preston, who is estranged from Natalie, appeared on CNN’s ‘OutFront’ on Tuesday to discuss his sister’s relationship with Trump.
During the interview, he said he did not believe her devotion to the president was based on a physical attraction.
Instead, he offered his own explanation for why Natalie appears so deeply connected to Trump.

Preston said he believes Trump represents something significant to his sister and described the president as a kind of father figure to her.
His comments came as Natalie’s relationship with Trump has received renewed attention following remarks by Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff.
Ossoff publicly called attention to how often Natalie is around Trump, sparking a strong reaction from the White House and Trump allies.
Natalie Harp’s loyalty to Donald Trump has drawn fresh attention
Natalie has been a close presence around Trump, and her dedication to the president has become a central part of the recent discussion about her role.
The aide has reportedly taken her responsibilities seriously enough to tell Trump in a personal letter that she had become so distracted by her work that she was forgetting to eat and sleep.
That detail has also been added to the public picture of her relationship with the president.
