Fact Check: Are Tom Brady and Jessica Alba in a romantic relationship?

BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: A rumor has been circulating on social media platforms claiming that former football quarterback Tom Brady and Hollywood actress Jessica Alba are in a relationship. The rumor has sparked excitement amongst fans, while a few others expressed scepticism and questioned the authenticity of the claim. Let us fact-check it.

Claim: Tom Brady and Jessica Alba are dating

The rumor surfaced with an X post, posted on Sunday, February 22. The post that came with a picture of the duo came with a caption stating, “Tom Brady and Jessica Alba are reportedly dating.” 

The post has garnered more than three hundred thousand likes, along with thousands of likes and hundreds of shares as of this writing. 

Many commenting under the post appeared to believe the claim to be true, while others expressed scepticism.

Fact Check: The claim originated as a satire 

The claim, however, is not true, as the post originated from a popular parody account called Hoops Crave, which often posts such fake and unverified claims for the sake of engagement. The page’s bio even states, “parody account not affiliated with @PopCrave.”

A Google search also does not generate relevant results supporting the claim. Besides, no prominent entertainment media outlet has carried the news. 

A fact check by Grok, the AI assistant of X, debunked the post, stating, “No, this rumor isn't true. HoopsCrave is a parody account. Recent reports indicate Tom Brady is casually linked to influencer Alix Earle, while Jessica Alba is dating actor Danny Ramirez.”

Moreover, as of July 2025, Alba is dating actor Danny Ramirez. Recent reports reveal that both were during a romantic beach date.

Tom Brady is single now as he announced his divorce from Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen in 2022.

Jessica Alba and Tom Brady’s past relationships at a glance

Previously, Alba began a three-year relationship with her co-star Michael Weatherly, and in August 2003, they announced they had ended their relationship. 

Later, Alba met Cash Warren, son of actor Michael Warren, in 2004, and the duo married in 2004. They have three children, two daughters and a son.

Brady began dating Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen in December 2006 and got married in 2009, and has a son and a daughter. In October 2022, the couple announced their divorce.
