The viral video has amassed more than 9 million views within hours of being posted. The post claims, "Zendaya gets jealous after Tom Holland stands next to Sadie Sink and realizes he picked the wrong one."
The roughly 16-second edited clip opens with Sadie Sink smiling beside Tom Holland, who wears a maroon jacket and briefly raises a finger to his mouth while looking to the side. It then cuts to Zendaya, dressed in a black low-cut gown, smiling, and turning her head.
Rapid cuts, repeated frames, and selective close-ups emphasize the actors' facial expressions and positioning before the clip ends with a close-up of Sadie Sink.
After the clip went viral, the same user posted a longer version and wrote, "Here is the full frame! She looks over multiple times. To me, it seems like she is insecure and acting kinda jealous! Do you interpret it the same way or differently?" The follow-up continued to suggest that Zendaya's glances reflected jealousy.
Fact Check: False, no credible reports to support the claim
The claim is false. Zendaya, her longtime partner Tom Holland, and their 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' co-star Sadie Sink attended the film's Los Angeles premiere on July 27, 2026, where they posed together for photographers without any reported signs of tension or discomfort.
No credible reports, eyewitness accounts, or official coverage suggested that Zendaya appeared jealous or that the actors experienced relationship issues during the event.
The viral video also presents a misleading version of what happened. It selectively edits the original footage by cropping out the director or photographer whom Zendaya was looking toward, showing Tom Holland wiping his mouth while preparing for a group photo, and repeating the opening frame to exaggerate her glances.
These ordinary red-carpet movements are portrayed as evidence of jealousy, even though the full footage does not support that interpretation.
A Community Note attached to the post explains: "This clip has been heavily edited. In the original video (linked below), Tom Holland wipes his mouth while preparing for the group photo, while Zendaya is looking at the director, who was cropped out of the edited clip. The opening frame is also repeated at 0:11."
No credible evidence suggests that Zendaya was jealous of Sadie Sink or that the premiere revealed any strain in her relationship with Holland. Instead, the viral claim relies on edited footage and speculative interpretations of routine red-carpet interactions.
