The rumor was further shared by several X users.
The rumor originated with a video on TikTok that claimed Charlie Kirk left Erika Kirk no money after "he found out she was having an affair." The post further claimed that it had left Erika Kirk 'furious'.
Fact check: False, TikTok video is a satire
The claims in the viral rumors are false, as the video is satire and was posted by Bulls Nose News, a satirical news website.

In January 2026, Erika Kirk demanded swift movement in the criminal case against her husband’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, arguing that prolonged delays are compounding her grief.
In a court filing, Erika formally invoked her right to a speedy trial under Utah law, alleging undue delay by the defense team representing Robinson.
In the filing, Kirk's attorney Jeffrey Neiman cited Utah Code provisions granting crime victims 'the right to a speedy disposition of the charges free from unwarranted delay caused by or at the behest of the defendant.'
Neiman wrote, "This Court is tasked with the critically important function of ensuring the Defendant has a fair trial."

"But this Court must also do so while balancing Mrs Kirk’s right to a speedy trial and therefore this Notice invokes Mrs Kirk’s rights under applicable Utah Code," the attorney added.
The filing signals frustration from Erika, who has watched the case stall as Robinson’s defense team files motions that critics say have little bearing on the central charges.
