An X user, @UrfavBoyq, claimed that North West shared screenshots of a private iMessage conversation with her father, Kanye West (Ye), on her Instagram story.
The alleged conversation showed Ye discussing his 13-year-old daughter's weight and encouraging her to develop healthier habits.
The screenshots included a photo of a blue-haired young woman labeled as North's “recent pic.”
The images also showed an Instagram story from an account named “northwest” and a chat with a contact saved as “ye” with a red heart emoji. The contact's status appeared as “online.”

In the alleged conversation, North sent Ye a photo and wrote, “ye, look at my recent pic 😊❤️.” She then reportedly told him, “I'm 193 pounds, ye.”
Ye allegedly replied, “193 pounds? Girl, you only 13! We gotta start taking your health serious.” He encouraged her to consult a doctor about what was healthy for her age and suggested eating better, trying fun activities and building healthy habits together.
He also said they could make sure any gym activities were safe and appropriate for her. He ended the message by saying he wanted to support her, not judge her.
North allegedly responded, “Aight, ye I’m down to do it with you.” The screenshot also included a caption that read, “ye really checked me on my weight 😂❤️”.
Fact Check: The screenshots are fake
The claim that North West shared screenshots of a private conversation with her father, Kanye West (Ye), on her Instagram story is false.

Her account is real, verified, and managed by her parents. It launched in December 2025 and has featured her with blue hair in previous posts and stories.
However, Instagram Stories disappear after 24 hours unless users save or share them, and no evidence confirms that the circulating screenshots came from her account.
Celebrity-gossip accounts on X have spread the screenshots, along with other unverified claims about North, including rumors about her allowance, dating life, and alleged family text messages.
Neither North, Kanye West, nor Kim Kardashian has confirmed the conversation, and no credible news outlet has verified the screenshots.
Some users have also questioned whether the messages sound scripted or AI-generated. The use of “Ye” throughout the alleged conversation has raised further doubts among some observers, although neither detail proves that the screenshots are fake.
The claim also resembles other fabricated stories about North West, including altered social media posts, fake conversations and misattributed statements that circulate online.
Although the photo of a blue-haired young woman resembles North’s recent public style, that similarity does not prove that the alleged conversation is genuine. Without an authentic post or independent confirmation, the claim that North shared the messages remains unverified.
