NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift has often been in the spotlight since her engagement to Travis Kelce. Recently, claims have been circulating on social media suggesting that the 'Look What You Made Me Do' singer announced her pregnancy.

The news appeared in three separate Facebook posts from accounts named Jennie Jo, KC Chiefs Nation, and Chiefs Empire.

One post featured an image of Swift and Kelce holding what appeared to be an ultrasound photo, which quickly drew widespread attention.

Claim: Social media claims Taylor Swift is pregnant

Three Facebook accounts recently claimed that 'Love Story' singer Taylor Swift is pregnant and announced her pregnancy. Jennie Jo first posted in the third week of October with the caption, “Taylor Swift is pregnant!! Definitely didn’t have this on my 2025 bingo card!! SOS.”

Chiefs Empire later shared a video reel featuring a collage of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce holding an ultrasound image, with the caption: “Baby No. 1 on the way. Pop sensation Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce have announced that they are expecting their first child together. The couple, who have been making headlines with their high-profile relationship, celebrated the joyous occasion with a party in Florida. Social media has been flooded with congratulatory messages, as Swifties and NFL fans alike expressed their happiness for the couple.” The post linked to a website called hoaus.livextop, which allegedly contained the full story.

Chiefs Nation also shared the pregnancy claim, echoing the same information and linking to Chiefs Empire’s post, further spreading the story.

Fact Check: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have not announced pregnancy

Despite social media posts claiming otherwise, neither Taylor Swift nor Travis Kelce has announced a pregnancy. Searches on Google Trends and X show no significant activity linking Swift to such news. There are no posts or images on Swift’s official Instagram or X confirming a pregnancy, and even close friends, including Selena Gomez, have not shared anything related.

The collage images circulating online can be traced back to at least March 2025. A similar image was shared by the Facebook page Daily Bible Verse, receiving over 22,000 reactions.

Jennie Jo’s original post later clarified that the “pregnant” reference was about a pet cat, not Swift. Chiefs Nation and Chiefs Empire largely share AI-generated, unverified content. Swift and Kelce got engaged on August 26, 2025, sharing a few images on her Instagram with the caption: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.".

Chiefs Nation and Chiefs Empire shared posts about Swift, but their content is largely unverified, contributing to the false pregnancy claims.
