WASHINGTON, DC: Former president Donald Trump was questioned by Fox News host Laura Ingraham if he is gender fluid after he said "I don't want pronouns."

The former president has a history of not supporting LGBTQ+ rights as he announced a ban on transgender people joining the military during his first year in office, according to the Independent.

Donald Trump says 'I don't want pronouns'

During an episode of 'The Ingraham Angle', which aired on Tuesday, the host stated that Vice President Kamala Harris includes her she/her pronouns in her X profile. She asked the ex-POTUS what pronouns he uses.

The former president simply replied, "I don't want pronouns," which led to Ingraham asking him if he’s gender-fluid. Trump answered her saying, "Nobody even knows what that means."

Apart from banning transgenders from joining the military, Trump also overturned Obama-era policies which required schools to protect transgender students from harassment, accommodate their preferred names and pronouns, and also allow them to use locker rooms and bathrooms of their choice.

During the interview, Trump also said that he 'probably' will debate Harris but he "can also make a case for not doing it." He said, "I want to do a debate. But I also can say this. Everybody knows who I am. And now people know who she is."

He added, "The answer is yes, I’ll probably end up debating. But I can also make a case for not doing it."

The former president has a history of skipping debates including all the Republican presidential primary debates in 2024. Initially, he didn't take part arguing that the timing was too early, and then raised concerns about the venue of another debate before finally announcing that he would not take part in any of them.

Donald Trump slammed for saying 'I don't want pronouns'

Several internet users slammed the ex-POTUS as he said 'I don't want pronouns' when asked if he is gender fluid. Some people called him a 'weird felon' while some said he is an authoritarian.

A user wrote on X, "When Trump says people don't even know... it means Trump doesn't know," while one added, "Trump's pronouns are Weird/Felon."

A person also stated, "So 'he' doesn't know if 'he is he or him?' Pronouns are pretty simple," whereas one mentioned, "Ironic that Trump would say he doesn´t care about pronouns since the entire core of his being revolves around one pronoun: ME."

A user also wrote, "To be clear, #GrammarDenier Donald identifies as authoritarian, so...," while one said, "Trump's pronouns are Liar/Cheat !!!"

A person commented, "His pronouns are creepy/weird," whereas one said, "Trump doesn't know what pronouns are. Seriously. Bigly idiot."
