NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Nikki Haley, who is vying to become the GOP presidential in the 2024 elections, is encountering a wave of sexist criticism, highlighting the challenges women encounter in their pursuit of the nation's highest office.

As the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary approach, the 51-year-old former United Nations ambassador is gaining momentum, shaping her message based on her qualifications to outperform President Joe Biden.

Following this news, Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X (formerly Twitter) to take a brutal jab at the GOP candidate.

Apparently, several X users also supported Ingraham’s remarks against Haley.

Laura Ingraham calls out Nikki Haley amid candidate facing sexist attacks

Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “Nikki Haley’s biggest problem isn’t sexism. It’s that she’s seen as the Officially Approved Republican of the Establishment. That’s her political kiss of death.”

Ingraham featured an article from The Hill titled “Haley faces barrage of sexist attacks”.

In the article, it was reported that Nikki Haley has been facing a barrage of sexist attacks in her bid to become the GOP nominee for president.

However, the gendered criticisms raise concerns about their potential impact on her standing as voting commences in the crucial early primary states.

Former New Hampshire GOP chairwoman Jennifer Horn said, “There’s no winning, no matter what approach she chooses. Whether she decides to ignore it and continue to just advance her message or to stand up and push back strongly, it’s a lose lose.”

She further added, “When a woman tries to push back hard, she’s perceived as whining and complaining.”

Despite polling behind former president Donald Trump, Haley has gained ground among other rivals, leveraging strong televised debate performances to position herself as a credible alternative to the 45th president.

While vehemently opposing Vivek Ramaswamy, a biotech executive known for employing gender-based critiques against her, Haley faced a particularly heated Republican debate in Miami.

In this exchange, Ramaswamy controversially labeled the former South Carolina governor, known for her hawkish foreign policy stance, as "Dick Cheney in three-inch heels."

Such references to women's shoes are viewed by some observers as sexist tactics used by male candidates to imply that their female counterparts are preoccupied with appearances.

Undeterred, Haley, renowned for her quick wit, confronted Ramaswamy head-on, countering his slight.

Internet agrees with Laura Ingraham’s remarks against Nikki Haley

After Laura Ingraham shared her opinion and called out Nikki Haley following the sexist attacks, several X users supported her remarks.

One person wrote, “That and she’s a corrupt warmongering neo-con whose biggest donors are military contractors..,” while another said, “She is AWFUL!!! Soooooo unlikeable.”

One X user simply slammed Haley and said, “When she leans towards being a victim as she did during last debate she looks weak. When she barks back she looks like a rabid chihuahua. Either way, I agree with you. The establishment choice is not ours. She now has the appearance of being compromised & is no longer trusted.”

One person wrote, “Absolutely correct Laura, Oh and she's got to stop holding her index finger up in the air or I'm going to start calling her Karen."

Another said, “….and she talks while clenching her teeth.  Really a disturbing look.”

One X user wrote, “That’s so right I will never vote for her or anyone else only trump.”
