LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA:  'American Pickers' star Frank Fritz’s final wish has been shared by his loved ones as they honored his memory on what would have been his 61st birthday.

Frank died on Monday, September 30, just two years after suffering a debilitating stroke and only weeks before his birthday.

Frank Fritz’s close friends are now working to fulfill his last request which involved a special tribute ride in his memory.

Frank’s close friend, Jerry Gendreau, revealed the details of Frank’s final wish to keep his memory alive.

“My understanding at this point, and this was his will, he wanted to come on the back of a motorcycle or a sidecar with his ashes in an urn with a big ride and go back to the Quad Cities,” Jerry shared with the The Sun.

The ride through the Quad Cities, a region in Iowa and Illinois, is planned to take place in the spring.

“We’ll do anything we can for him,” Jerry vowed, adding, “That’s what he really wanted to do.”

Frank Fritz's conservator, Chris Davis, also discussed plans for a celebration of Frank’s life.

 “There will be a celebration of life in the future. It will be big. Fans can attend," Chris previously mentioned.

He also revealed that several bands have shown interest in performing at the event, including his own.

Meanwhile Frank’s friend Annette Oberlander Willows shared a personal memory on Facebook, reflecting on how she would celebrate Frank’s birthday with him.

"Today would have been Frank’s 61st birthday. For the last two years I made him a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting,” she wrote. Annette recalled, “Small little story – he would rarely share even a piece other than with me. It gives me a chuckle the way he guarded it.”

The star died two years after suffering a stroke in his Iowa home in July 2022. Unmarried, he was left wheelchair-bound unable to take care of his needs and important decesions.

Frank’s close friends filed for a conservatorship and guardianship for him in August 2022.

Meawhile fans also took to social media to remember Frank Fritz on his 61st birthday. They also praised his friends for taking good care of him.

"Thanks for sharing this story. Happy birthday Frank. I still can’t believe you're gone," one commented on Facebook post.

Another fan posted, "Happy Heavenly Birthday Frank!! And Annette, thank you for sharing a personal memory with us. Wish we all had a good friend like you in our lives."

"Can't get it off my mind.. Been thinking about it being his Birthday last few days.. He will be forever in my heart.. You were so good to him," wrote one more.

"Happy heavenly birthday Frank. Happy birthday to you too Annette. You are such a great friend," wrote another.
