Taking to the red carpet, Sudeikis appeared to shield his children from the sunlight in a playful moment. In response, Otis and Daisy leaned into their dad with bright smiles, playfully raising their arms over his head while squinting against the bright sunlight in a sweet family moment. This comes after Sudeikis reflected on what it means for his children to see both him and ex Olivia Wilde genuinely enjoying their work. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the former SNL star said, "May any of us get the opportunity to find a job where you have so much fun doing it." He added, "If that's the example that myself and Olivia provide for them, then I'm happy about that," before revealing that Daisy already dreams of pursuing "about ten different things."

Jason Sudeikis and ex Olivia Wilde have found a strong co-parenting rhythm since their split, with her sharing that their children are now able to receive the best of both parents. Speaking on 'Call Her Daddy' in June, she said they have created a dynamic that gives Otis and Daisy "the maximum amount of love" and described herself and him as "great co-parents." Wilde also added that, while their relationship as a couple had its challenges, they now work exceptionally well together as separated co-parents, allowing their children to benefit from their shared commitment.

Reflecting on the show's return, Sudeikis told The Hollywood Reporter, "I know I needed this. I needed it as much as other people do." Apple TV+ announced that this time the season will focus on AFC Richmond's women's football team. Co-star Hannah Waddingham also teased what fans can expect, telling Entertainment Weekly in May 2025 that the series' writers are "literally Jedi Knights" and praising the collaborative writers' room, which includes both talented women and "a full room of real feminist men." She said that balance is evident throughout the new scripts.
