Margaret Qualley spotted filming 'Possession' in first public appearance since Jack Antonoff split

Margaret Qualley appeared publicly for the first time after her reported split from her singer-songwriter husband, Jack Antonoff. The 'Maid' star was seen working on her upcoming horror movie 'Possession' in Jersey City, New Jersey, on July 22.

The July 22 spotting in Jersey City was Margaret Qualley's first in several months. The 31-year-old actress' last major public outing was in February when she attended the GRAMMYs with her now-estranged husband, Jack Antonoff. Qualley even missed the July 3 star-studded wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in New York City.

Margaret Qualley was seen covered in all-black outfit as she filmed the remake of the 1981 hit, which starred Isabelle Adjani in the lead role. 'The Substance' actress was spotted running for a scene as she donned a long-sleeved top, knee-length skirt, and a pair of leggings.

Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff's reported split news came just a month before their third wedding anniversary. The two have not shared any official statement yet. But E! News, citing a spokesperson for Qualley, reported, "The narratives running in the press about Margaret and Jack are categorically untrue. There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship." They further added, "The sources who are talking to the press and commenting on their relationship are not people who know them. Please respect their privacy."

The new 'Possession' film from writer-director Parker Finn will see Margaret Qualley in the lead role of Anna opposite Callum Turner. A few weeks ago, a source claimed that Qualley is “the happiest when she’s working" as she will also be seen in 'The Dog Stars,' 'Love of Your Life,' and 'King Snake.' They further asserted, "Right now, she’s just looking ahead and focusing on what’s next. She’s spent years building her career, and she’s excited to keep doing what she loves."
