Melania Trump delivered a passionate message about preserving the White House for future generations this week — with some of the most dramatic changes to the historic presidential complex unfolding around her. The first lady hosted more than 200 leaders from presidential sites across the country for the White House Historical Association's 2026 Presidential Sites Summit on Wednesday, September 9. Speaking from the Rose Garden, Melania described the White House as an “architectural autobiography of America” and reflected on her own restoration work.
