Natalie Harp joins Trump in presidential SUV for casual weekend visit to his Virginia golf club

The President left the White House for Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, where he spent the day away from his formal presidential schedule. Trump, dressed casually in a white polo shirt and his signature red 'Make America Great Again' cap, was seen looking down at what appeared to be papers in his hands during the journey.

Harp was seen riding in the same SUV as the president as they traveled to his Sterling golf club. The longtime aide frequently accompanies him during trips. Her presence on what was otherwise a relatively low-key outing offered another glimpse of the access she has to Trump beyond major public events and rallies.

After Trump spent the day at his northern Virginia golf club, Harp was photographed arriving back at the White House. The aide had traded the more formal dresses frequently seen during presidential travel for decidedly casual weekend attire, wearing a white baseball cap, a sleeveless blue top, black shorts and white sneakers.

The latest sighting comes as Harp has emerged from relative anonymity to become one of the most closely watched members of Trump’s White House orbit. Before joining Trump’s political operation, Harp worked as a television host and became a prominent supporter of the president.

Harp's presence on Trump's weekend golf trip comes amid heightened scrutiny of the access she enjoys to the president. She has frequently been photographed standing just behind Trump or accompanying him during presidential travel, making her a familiar figure in images of his movements, even when she has no public role.
