Taylor Swift appears to channel Bo Peep during surprise red carpet appearance at 'Toy Story 5' LA Premiere

Taylor Swift arrived for the Los Angeles premiere of 'Toy Story 5' looking chic in Erdem's strapless, off-the-shoulder corset minidress. Her look appeared to be inspired by Bo Peep, one of the most popular characters in the Disney–Pixar Toy Story franchise. During her appearances in the franchise over the years, Bo Peep has mostly been seen in corset dresses resembling Swift's outfit.

Taylor Swift, who has been a fan of 'Toy Story' since childhood, was all smiles as she posed alongside Jessie, voiced by Joan Cusack in the fifth installment, at the June 9 event. The pop icon complemented her floral print dress by embracing her natural hair. For the makeup, she went with her trademark red lips and added minimal jewellery pieces to complete her look.

Not only was Taylor Swift's presence at the premiere a surprise, but the pop icon also performed at the event, singing 'I Knew It, I Knew You' for the audience. She was even joined by Randy Newman as the duo performed the 82-year-old's classic track, 'You’ve Got a Friend in Me.'

During her appearance on the red carpet, Taylor Swift took autographs from the 'Toy Story 5' cast on her original VHS. She later called herself "lucky" to become a part of the franchise. The Grammy winner told the crowd, "It means the world to me to be a small part of the universe of these films, and Toy Story 5 is my favorite of all the Toy Stories. I’m so lucky that I get to be a part of this."

Taylor Swift, whose original song 'I Knew It, I Knew You' was a surprise for the movie's cast as well, happily posed with the team. She was photographed alongside Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Greta Lee, and more at the red carpet.
