Trump’s bizarre image spree features Hulk Hogan, Hollywood foe, before White House takes it one step further

Trump shared a map that showed New Mexico with part of the state's name dramatically crossed out. 'Mexico' was struck through and replaced with 'America,' leaving the state labeled 'New America.' New Mexico Gov Michelle Lujan Grisham pushed back against the latest apparent suggestion, defending the state's identity and history.

One graphic presented a before-and-after map of Iran. While the first showed the country's familiar borders, the second manipulated its outline until the western side resembled Trump's distinctive profile.

The president then gave himself a muscular makeover. He superimposed his face onto a body resembling wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, complete with the wrestler's trademark physique and a red 'MAGA' bandana. Trump and Hogan shared a long political connection before the wrestler's death in 2025. Hogan famously ripped off his shirt while speaking at the 2024 Republican National Convention and became one of Trump's most recognizable celebrity supporters during that campaign.

An AI-generated image showed the president on horseback alongside George Washington in a scene seemingly designed to evoke the Revolutionary War era. Both men are depicted riding through the historical setting, effectively placing the 47th president beside America's first president more than two centuries earlier.

posted a graphic showing the cratered surface of the moon with Earth visible in the distance. Across the image were the words “THE MOON IS OURS,” accompanied by an American flag. Under the 1967 Outer Space Treaty, outer space and celestial bodies are not subject to national appropriation through sovereignty claims.

The president also took aim at one of his most prominent Hollywood critics. In another apparently AI-generated image, Robert De Niro was falsely depicted holding a red shirt declaring 'TRUMP IS MY PRESIDENT.' Trump captioned the picture, “Even this j**k is beginning to get it!” De Niro has in reality remained a vocal Trump critic.

The White House also shared a pair of AI-generated images on X that cast President Donald Trump as the DC Comics superhero Green Lantern. One image shows Trump staring directly at the viewer while holding up his hand to display a glowing green power ring. The White House accompanied the pictures with a variation of the superhero's famous oath: “In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might beware my power... Green Lantern's light!”
