WASHINGTON, DC: George Conway, a prominent critic of Donald Trump within the GOP, has advised liberals to handle the former President by “laughing at him” and calling him crazy.

Conway argued that the media and the country have “not had a full national conversation” about Trump’s psychological condition.

George Conway says calling Donald Trump crazy will make him crazier

Conway shared these thoughts during a discussion with comedian and senior 'The Daily Show' correspondent Ronny Chieng on Thursday, June 6.

He believes that Trump is a "narcissistic sociopath and has a narcissistic personality disorder," according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).

“That needs to be talked about openly,” Conway said. “It needs to be pointed out, when he is doing things that meet those criteria, and it’s gotta be pointed out, and it drives him nuts when people do that," he added according to The Hill.

Conway mentioned that such an action might initiate a cycle. He suggested, "When you drive him nuts by saying 'he's crazy' he acts nuts then you have more video and say how nuts he is and that's what has to be done."'

George Conway suggests liberals not to get mad as Donald Trump's supporters like it

“The other thing I would recommend to liberals is, don’t get mad. The people who support Trump like when liberals get mad; that’s why they like Trump," he added.

“You can make fun of him and mock him. I mean, this is what these shows do,” Conway told Chieng.

“You’re kind of addressing the whole premise of the show right now. That’s what we’re trying to do here," Chieng responded.

Conway agreed, noting that fellow late-night host Jimmy Kimmel and his ongoing battle with the former president plays “an important role.”

“Laugh at him. Now, that doesn’t mean you don’t appreciate the seriousness of what would happen to this country," he suggested.

Conway warned that if Trump is reelected in November, the United States is “going to have civil disorder like you’ve never seen.”

Donald Trump's campaign calls George Conway 'loser,' Internet says he is a laughing stock himself

Trump's campaign told The Hill, “George Conway is a loser who clearly has some serious mental issues and suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome that he needs to address.”

Netizens also weighed in on Conway’s remarks. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “People already laugh at Georgie!” Another penned, “It hasn't worked for George Conway. He's oblivious.”

One more user wrote, “...This dude should know, he's laughed at and called crazy on a daily basis.”

Another added, “You're quite the clown, Mr. Conway. I laugh at you and call you crazy.”

Criticism continued with one user lashing out, “Says the man who ended up sabotaging his brilliant wife & destroying his marriage due to TDS.”  Another commented, “Did he ever look in a mirror?”
