TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA: British socialite and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, 62, is said to be crafting a tell-all memoir from her prison cell to counter what she perceives as "misinformation" regarding her ties to billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, 66.

Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year prison sentence on federal sex-trafficking charges, believes her memoir will clarify her side of the story and that her "charges will be dropped when people read it", according to a source close to Maxwell.

Ghislaine Maxwell vows her memoir will unveil the 'truth'

At 62 years old, she is currently serving a 20-year prison term following a federal conviction for sex trafficking, where she was found guilty of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein. Meanwhile, the 66-year-old Epstein took his own life in his Manhattan jail cell in 2019 before facing trial.

“Max says the documents in the news are all false or misinformation. The truth will only come out when her book does,” the source claimed. “She’s bragging about how great it will be but it sounds like the same old lies she has told a thousand times,” Daily Mail reported.

Maxwell, who reportedly maintains her innocence, is confident that her story will exonerate her, claiming that the documents in the "news are all false or misinformation." The truth will only come out when her book does.

Ghislaine Maxwell's tell-all is ready for publication

The revelation of Maxwell's intention to write a memoir follows closely on the heels of the disclosure of documents related to Epstein and the former's alleged crimes.

Unearthed as part of Virginia Giuffre's long-settled 2015 defamation lawsuit against the 62-year-old, the trove of 215 documents, comprising nearly 5,000 pages, lays out the scope of Epstein's sex trafficking ring, his powerful network, and the methods employed to lure female victims.

Expressing frustration that she is the only individual facing consequences over Epstein's sex trafficking ring, Maxwell appealed her conviction in February, alleging a series of "fatal" errors during her trial. The 62-year-old has reportedly been diligently working on her memoir using a typewriter she has access to through her position in the jail's law library.

“She has access to three lockers in legal and moves her manuscript and papers from one to the other because she’s so paranoid that someone might steal it or leak it,” the source said. “Apparently it’s already finished but she is waiting for the right moment to publish it."
