8 famous people who responded after their names featured on Jeffrey Epstein's list
Featured people speak out after Epstein's List release
Though Jeffrey Epstein died before his sex trial began, his so-called associates and pals are still here and have been forced to face the embarrassment after a list containing their names was released to the public. The list unsealed in January revealed over 100 names of famous people, including Prince Andrew and former US President Bill Clinton, forcing many of them to answer publicly. Below is the list of such well-known people.
Donald Trump
Former president Donald Trump’s name has appeared in the infamous Epstein's list, released on January 3. But the ex-leader’s spokesperson Steven Cheung denied any association between the two and claimed that the allegtions were "thoroughly debunked” despite Trump calling the late billionaire a “terrific guy” earlier.
Bill Clinton
Another former US President who allegedly had a relationship with the disgraced financier was Bill Clinton. However, his spokesperson, Angel Ureña, said, as per PEOPLE, “It’s been nearly 20 years since President Clinton last had contact with Epstein.”
Alan Dershowitz
Alan Dershowitz’s name is not just on the list but he has also ben accused of sex crimes by Epstein’s accusers. However, the lawyer dismissed all the associations after the list’s release. In a YouTube livestream, he said, “Of course I'm on that list, I was his lawyer. I flew on his plane. ... I had an innocent relationship with a man who I didn't know, nobody suspected, had done anything wrong.”
Robert F Kennedy Jr
Unlike others on the list, Robert F Kennedy Jr has not shown anxiety over the release of the documents. He also did not attempt to clear his name as he told News Nation, “I like the fact that all these papers are being released.” The 2024 presidential candidate further stated, “I think that the government keeps too many secrets. I hope everything that is known about Jeffrey Epstein comes out."
Richard Branson
The business magnate’s name is also on Epstein's list. One of the accusers of Epstein, Sarah Ransome, accused Richard Branson of being a participant in the shooting of sex tapes alongside Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew. But Branson's spokesperson reportedly said, “We can confirm that Sarah Ransome's claims are baseless and unfounded.”
Glenn Dubin
The billionaire hedge fund manager’s name is there on the controversial list. But he has also been accused of being involved in sex crimes. However, following the list’s unsealing, a spokesperson for him reportedly stated, “The Dubins strongly deny these allegations, as we first said in 2019, when these unsubstantiated statements first surfaced as part of this same civil court proceeding.”
Thomas Pritzker
The Jewish American billionaire businessman and Epstein were believed to be on good terms. It has been alleged that Thomas Pritzker even played a vital role in Epstein's sex trafficking ring. However, now the 73-year-old has denied any wrongdoing. Pritzker’s spokesperson reportedly said, “This is the same false and isolated allegation that was published and vehemently denied more than four years ago. Mr. Pritzker continues to vehemently deny it.”
Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz was one of the Hollywood celebs who were allegedly connected with Epstein. After the January release of the list, the actress’ spokesperson told Page Six, “Cameron never met Jeffrey Epstein, nor was she ever in the same place as him or had any association with him whatsoever, regardless of the fact he may or may not have mentioned her name or implied that he knew her.”
