NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: George Stephanopoulos has left his ‘Good Morning America’ co-hosts in awe during his latest broadcast.

The 63-year-old broadcast journalist caught the eye of his co-hosts, including Lara Spencer and Michael Strahan, by showcasing his muscular physique in a tight-fitting T-shirt.



 

During the Tuesday, October 15 episode of the popular morning show, Stephanopoulos gave a sneak peek of his toned body which usually remains hidden under his formal attire.

Tuesday’s ‘Good Morning America’ episode showed a glimpse of an upcoming special where George Stephanopoulos was seen talking with Bruce Springsteen at the backstage wearing a gray fitted T-shirt.

After the clip played, Lara Spencer told Stephanopoulos, "Great T-shirt," and added, "I don't think I've ever seen that look on you before," per Hello! Magazine.

The journalist's other co-host, Michael Strahan, also chimed in, saying, "Look at George's guns," before humorously requesting a copy of Stephanopoulos' "workout plan."

The former White House Communications Director then jokingly responded to Strahan, a former NFL star, saying, "I’ve got to keep up with you, Michael."

George Stephanopoulos is working with Bruce Springsteen for a special

The clip is from the upcoming special titled ‘Bruce Springsteen: Backstage and Backstreets’ which will be released on ABC on Sunday, Oct 20 at 10 pm EST.

In the special, the E Street Band frontman will discuss his personal life and career with the journalist.

As Lara Spencer and fellow co-host Robin Roberts praised Stephanopoulos for his work on the upcoming special, the political commentator enthusiastically shared his experience meeting Springsteen.

Stephanopoulos noted, "It's a privilege to have this rare access to Bruce Springsteen," before adding, "His music has inspired so many, and getting to sit down with him for such intimate conversations reveals the man behind the legend. I can't wait for viewers to experience this special," per Parade.

Bruce Springsteen gives update on his wife's health

In his conversation with George Stephanopoulos for the upcoming special, Bruce Springsteen provided a rare update on his wife Patti Scialfa Springsteen's health.

Offering insight into his wife's health challenges, the 'Streets of Philadelphia' singer shared, "She's doing good," and added that they "caught it early, which was important."

However, he did mention that the "tough disease" is "very fatiguing," which is why Scialfa is not performing with their E Street Band.

Springsteen's 71-year-old wife, a singer, was first diagnosed with multiple myeloma—a type of blood cancer—in 2018, per Yahoo!
