WASHINGTON, DC: Greg Gutfeld weighed in on an incident where a Secret Service agent allegedly left her post to breastfeed during Donald Trump's campaign event in Asheville, North Carolina.

On his Fox News show 'Gutfeld,' he made a striking comment about the Secret Service agent, saying, “If I wanted to be an assassin, all I’d have to do is get all the female agents pregnant.”

Greg Gutfeld suggests breastfeeding agents could pose security risk

Greg Gutfeld suggested that having multiple breastfeeding women at campaign events could lead to a situation where they might all leave their posts simultaneously to feed their infants, creating an ideal opportunity for an assassination attempt on a political figure, as reported by The Wrap.

His remark elicited a similar response from cohost and former professional wrestler Tyrus, who advised exercising caution, “Greg, when you make a decision to make all the women pregnant, you realize you have to raise the children. So just take it from me. Rethink that one.” For context, Tyrus has five children.

Gutfeld also speculated that the incident might have happened because management was reluctant to deny the breastfeeding mother’s request, fearing potential discrimination complaints. He commented, “Maybe they’ll end up in HR for discriminating against a woman feeding her baby.”

Secret Service agent caught breastfeeding during Donald Trump's visit

The report was initially highlighted by conservative journalist Susan Crabtree on X last Thursday, August 15.

Crabtree reported that a site agent found the Secret Service agent in question just five minutes before Trump arrived at the campaign event.

She wrote, “The site agent went to do one final sweep of the walking route and found the agent breast-feeding her child in a room that is supposed to be set aside for important Secret Service official work, i.e. a potential emergency related to the president.”

“A working agent on duty cannot bring a child to a protective assignment. The woman was out of the Atlanta Field Office. The woman agent was in the room with two other family members," Crabtree added.

She further stated, "The agent and her family members bypassed the Uniformed Division checkpoint and were escorted by an unpinned event staff into the room to breastfeed, the sources said. Unpinned means they have not been cleared by the Secret Service to be there.”

Internet reacts

As soon as the news surfaced the social media, users started reacting to it. A user suggested, "She could have easily pumped, stored and had the family member not bring the baby to her highly potentially dangerous job!"

Another user added, "She should be fired I am sorry but women should not be agents especially if they are breast-feeding and bringing their kid with them. There had better be some consequences this is unacceptable."

A third commentator remarked, "Seriously - this agency is a disaster and people need to be fired!"

"She needs to be fired…she is a security risk! Bypass protocols..bring family members into a secured area…she frickin breached a secure area! #FireHer," one stated.

A person said, "She should be fired."
