Hakeem Jeffries slams Trump as ‘dumbest President ever’ after being branded ‘low IQ’ by him

WASHINGTON, DC: House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries has called out President Donald Trump and branded him as the “dumbest President ever”. His scathing comments came after the Republican leader had called him a "low IQ person" and also blasted him for being critical of the Iran war.

During a press conference on Thursday, April 23, Jeffries challenged the Republican leader to a public debate.

Jeffries asks Trump for a public debate to see 'who’s intellectually superior'

He told The Pavlovic Today, “If Donald Trump wants to debate me anytime, anyplace — in the Oval Office, publicly, on camera — I’d be happy to do it. And we’ll see who’s intellectually superior in that type of contest. I’ve got no doubts as to what the outcome would be.”

The Democratic party member then went on to address the insult by Trump. He said, “This is from the dumbest President ever to sit at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. There’s not even a close second.”

Jeffries claims Trump is 'worsening the United States’ security posture'

Jeffries did not stop there, as he mentioned how Trump is damaging the US’s stance in front of the world.

He stated, “Instead of insulting people all over the world — and I’m not really worried about what he has to say about me — but he’s insulting our allies. He’s worsening the United States’ security posture in doing so.”

“He’s fighting with his own MAGA base. The economy is collapsing. It’s a train wreck. That’s why it’s going to take Democrats to get things back on track,” the politician added.

Jeffries accused Trump of 'wasting billions of dollars dropping bombs' on Iran

Also, during a Tuesday interview with MS NOW's Lawrence O'Donnell, Jeffries accused Trump and the Republicans of failing America.

“They failed on the economy, failed on healthcare, failed on immigration enforcement. And now they’ve gotten us into a reckless and costly war of choice, where more than a dozen Americans, brave heroes, have already lost their lives. Over 400 are seriously injured, and we’re wasting billions of dollars dropping bombs in the Middle East,” he claimed.

Earlier on Tuesday, Trump had written in a Truth Social post, “Never allow the Traitor Democrats like Low IQ person Hakeem Jeffries, or Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, or the totally corrupt Fake News Media such as the phony and decaying Wall Street Journal, the Failing New York Times (Subscriptions way down!), or dying ‘60 Minutes,’ to demean or criticize Operation Midnight Hammer, which totally obliterated the Nuclear Dust locations to the point where bloodthirsty Iran has been unable to get to it, or dig it out.”
