Hallie Biden reveals her 'stupid idea' on finding Hunter Biden's gun as she testifies against ex-BF
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE: Hallie Biden, the widow of President Joe Biden's late son, Beau Biden gave an emotional testimony on finding Hunter Biden's gun in his vehicle in October 2018.
The school counselor testified against her brother-in-law on Thursday, June 6 in the federal gun case on Thursday, June 6, as he faces criminal charges for alleged false statements he made while purchasing a gun and for possessing the gun while addicted to drugs.

Speaking to the jury about finding the gun and ammunition in the console of the truck owned by Hunter with whom Hallie had been in a brief romantic relationship, she testified, “I was afraid to touch it."
She stated that the firearm was found when she went to "clean out" his vehicle.
"I didn’t know if it was loaded," she said, adding that she considered hiding it but was concerned her children might find it. according to The Hill.
During her testimony, prosecutor Leo Wise asked Hallie, "What did you find, in addition to trash and clothes?" and she recounted, "Remnants of crack cocaine and some paraphernalia. Oh and the gun, obviously."
Hallie Biden says disposing of the gun was 'a stupid idea'
Hallie testified that she placed the gun in a shopping bag and disposed of it outside an upscale grocery store located near her Wilmington home in Delaware.
Surveillance footage of Hallie disposing of the gun was shown by prosecutors.
“I realize it was a stupid idea now, but I was panicking,” she testified.
When asked why she panicked, Hallie said she did not want Hunter "to hurt himself," reported ABC News.

Detailing Hunter's drug use during their brief romantic relationship following the death of Beau, who died from brain cancer in 2015, Hallie told the jury that her ex-boyfriend introduced her to crack cocaine.
“It was a terrible experience that I went through. I’m embarrassed and ashamed, and I regret that period of my life," she shared.
The school counselor then described the effects of crack cocaine on Hunter, noting that it could leave him “agitated or high-strung, but at other times, functioning as well."
Hallie could prove to be a key witness against her brother-in-law — with her testimony on his drug use and on her decision to dump the firearm outside the grocery store precipitating the case against Hunter in the first place.
