Hayden Panettiere’s ex Wladimir Klitschko claims he’s spending $30K to cover her tax bill
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hayden Panettiere’s ex, Wladimir Klitschko, is doing what he can to help cover her estate’s tax bill. According to documents obtained by E! News, Klitschko is paying a large amount of his own money.
He is using it to cover Panettiere’s tax bills and avoid “unnecessary interest” and additional penalties. The former professional boxer is also making sure that the estate is protected and that his 11-year-old daughter’s future remains secure.
For those unaware, Kaya is the sole heir to Panettiere’s estate. The 'Nashville' actress took her last breath on August 16 at the age of just 36.

The former professional boxer is paying $30,000 from his own pocket. He said he is doing so to avoid “direct financial detriment” to their daughter. In the documents, Klitschko said he believes the late actress’ 2025 individual state and federal tax returns are due on October 15.
According to the publication, he plans to pay the amount himself because no one has been appointed as a representative to handle legal matters related to Hayden’s estate at this time. The 50-year-old said he “will later seek reimbursement” from the estate once it is set up.
“Without an immediate appointment for these purposes, there is a high probability that property belonging to Hayden's Estate may be lost, damaged or dissipated before a duly appointed personal representative can be in place to protect it,” the filing read.

“This directly and adversely affects Kaya, as she is the sole heir entitled to the entirety of Hayden's probate estate.” “Although Hayden's Estate has not yet been distributed to Kaya, Kaya's priority as sole intestate heir gives her the paramount economic interest in preserving the value of Hayden's Estate,” the filing reads.
It also adds that making Klitschko the guardian “is necessary to protect that interest from further loss.”

A few days earlier, Klitschko also filed documents claiming that some of Panettiere’s belongings may have gone missing. “Petitioner is informed and believes that a non-family member previously connected to Hayden sold certain items belonging to Hayden, believed to include jewelry, to a pawn shop."
"The pawn shop has declined to disclose specific item information without being contacted by law enforcement.” According to the court documents filed in Los Angeles, California.

“Absent such contact,” the document continues, “there is a real and continuing risk that any remaining items, including jewelry, believed to belong to Hayden, will be sold, transferred or otherwise rendered unrecoverable.”
The filing also said that failing to investigate could financially harm Kaya, Panettiere’s only heir. “Although Hayden's Estate has not yet been distributed to Kaya, Kaya's priority as sole intestate heir gives her the paramount economic interest in preserving the value of Hayden's Estate.”
