WASHINGTON, DC: After Donald Trump launched a 'barely coherent' rant against Robert F Kennedy Jr on TruthSocial on Friday night, the Independent presidential candidate responded, according to The Hill.

RFK Jr posted on X, "When frightened men take to social media they risk descending into vitriol, which makes them sound unhinged. President Trump’s rant against me is a barely coherent barrage of wild and inaccurate claims that should best be resolved in the American tradition of presidential debate."

Notably, Kennedy's response comes after Trump attacked the independent candidate for president on TruthSocial in a string of posts on Friday.

Trump maintained that President Biden's running companion, Nichole Shanahan, is not a genuine contender for vice president and that the independent candidate has been added to the race to support the incumbent.

Moreover, Kennedy complimented Trump on his debating skills but said that he doesn't need to be 'panicked' to share opinions with others.

RFK Jr said, "President Trump, who has proven himself the most adept debater in modern American political history, should not be panicked to meet me on that stage."

Kennedy stated that he would take on Trump in the hypothetical debate over his endorsement of a funding route for Ukraine, the national debt, and his inability to empty the 'swamp'.

He said, "He promised to end the Ukraine war and then colluded with Speaker Johnson and President Biden to fund it. He let Big Pharma and his corrupt bureaucrats run roughshod over him as President. He promised to cut the deficit and ran up the biggest debt in history."

He added, "He promised to run the government like a business and then closed down our businesses. He promised to drain the swamp and then filled his administration with swamp creatures. He promised to protect our rights and then torpedoed the Constitution."

He further stated, "Instead of lobbing poisonous bombs from the safety of his bunker, let’s hear President Trump defend his record to me mano-a-mano by respectful, congenial debate."

Internet slams RFK Jr for his statement on social media post

Several people on the internet slammed RFK Jr as he replied to Donald Trump's rant on social media.

A user wrote on X, "RFK own family won't endorse him," while one added, "Takes one to know one. Has he listened to himself? They hate each other because they’re too much alike."

A person also wrote, "Sounds like a description of Robert Kennedy's social media comments on vaccinations," whereas one mentioned, "Kennedy what are you going to do to stop the war in Ukraine and how are you going to kill high rates of inflation in America."

A person added, "Nobody wants him he is worthless."
