GLENDALE, ARIZONA: Conservative icon Charlie Kirk was gunned down on September 10 by 22-year-old Tyler Robinson while attending a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University.

A memorial service for the late MAGA influencer and prominent conservative activist is scheduled to take place in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday, September 21. Here is how you can take part in the memorial service.

Turning Point USA to host memorial service to honor Charlie Kirk

Turning Point USA, which was co-founded by Charlie Kirk, extended a public invitation to “Building a Legacy: Remembering Charlie Kirk”, an event aimed at honoring Kirk, who was killed in Orem, Utah, last week.

The organization wrote in an X post, "Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend. The morning of Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, in Glendale, AZ."

According to Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk's memorial service will be held at State Farm Stadium, located at Loop 101 and Glendale Avenue in Glendale, on Sunday. Those interested in attending must register with Turning Point USA on its website.

As attendance will be determined on a "first come, first serve" basis, prospective attendees are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Event guidance will be sent on the evening of Saturday, September 20. Turning Point USA has also requested that attendees wear their "Sunday Best," specifically in red, white, or blue.

Expert breaks down Charlie Kirk's likely final moments

A forensic psychologist has analyzed what Charlie Kirk likely experienced in his final moments on September 10.

In a YouTube video, forensic psychologist Derek Van Schaik explained what happened during Kirk's last moments.

"That’s when this single shot was fired. It sadly struck Charlie on the left side of his neck at apparently near his C4 C5 vertebrae and apparently ruptured his left carotid artery and left jugular vein causing sudden and massive blood loss," the psychologist explained. He added, "The entrance wound was approximately the size of a dime but appeared much larger in footage of the event due to immediate surrounding bleeding."

"Although there was no clear footage of the exit wound, they tend to be much larger than the entrance wound in flesh. Do you know why? It’s because the force of the bullet creates a temporary cavity pushing mass along with it as the bullet exits the body," Schaik further mentioned.

The psychologist also added that Charlie Kirk would not have felt anything before he died. "You may be wondering if severe damage to the spinal cord at C4-C5 caused Charlie to lose consciousness so quickly. No, it was the massive blood loss he incurred so quickly," Schaik said.

He explained, "The jugular vein carries deoxygenated blood down from the brain while the carotid artery pumps oxygen-rich blood up to the brain. So what happens when both are catastrophically ruptured? Right? The jugular vein drains blood from the brain out of the body while the carotid artery continuously pumps blood out of the body with each heartbeat."

"When someone suffers a catastrophic wound to the neck that destroys a carotid artery and jugular vein, the mind only has a fleeting window to possibly register what happened," the psychologist said.
