But there’s a twist: Barron wasn't just an admired name - it was an identity Trump used himself. In the late 1980s, Trump would occasionally masquerade as 'John Baron'" even going so far as to pose as a Trump Organization vice president under this pseudonym.

The ruse was so well-kept that The New York Times once reported information from Trump's alias as legitimate. He eventually confessed to the charade during a lawsuit in 1990.

Trump even used variations of the name 'Barron' during his affair with Marla Maples, signing messages as “the Baron” to conceal his identity.
