MACON, GEORGIA: Former NFL player Herschel Walker had a hard time trying to get GOP nominee and former President Donald Trump's name right while introducing him at a rally in the battleground state of Georgia on Sunday, November 3, two days ahead of Election Day.

According to the Daily Mail, Walker's home state of Georgia is one of the key states that will decide the outcome of the general election as the race between Trump and his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, appears to be in a dead heat at present.

While the conservative candidate focused his energy on Georgia on Sunday, Harris was busy campaigning in the state of Michigan.

Walker, 62, got his words mixed up while calling upon people to vote for Donald Trump and instead asked them to back his son, Don Jr, for president. However, when he tried to correct himself, the situation got progressively worse.

"This all stops Tuesday when we get to the polls and vote for my friend, and your friend, Donald Trump Jr," Walker announced. "Donald Trump - Jonald J Trump," he added while stepping away from the microphone.

Earlier in his speech, Walker spoke of his bond with the business tycoon.

"Donald Trump is not just my friend, he’s your friend, and it is time for us to step up to the plate. It is not time for us to sit on the sideline anymore," he said. "He has sacrificed a lot for this country, and in so many ways. And it really disgusts me when I hear them insult him with all these names."

Walker infamously ran for the senate back in 2022, but his campaign fell apart as he was accused of paying for the abortion of a woman after having an affair. Walker has been vocally pro-life and denied all claims.

Herschel Walker trolled for not getting Donald Trump's name right while introducing him

"Alright MAGA … you heard it here. Write in Donald Trump Jr on Tuesday!" remarked another.

"Now THAT’S how you finish strong!" one person exclaimed.

"He couldn’t run off that stage fast enough LOL!!" another added.

"This fool literally had ONE job," stated one individual.

"One of the dumbest of the dumb," another person added.
