LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Comedian and television personality, Bill Maher made remarks about President Joe Biden’s age and appearance, and called him "cadaver-like."

During his appearance on Tuesday’s episode of ‘The View’, Maher compared Biden, 81, to former president Donald Trump, 77, stating that despite their close ages, Biden appears much older.

Bill Maher says Joe Biden's older look is unfair to almost same-aged Donald Trump

Maher, himself 68, pointed out that Biden is just four years older than Trump.

However, he argued that Biden “presents [himself] old,” a perception he feels is unfair given their similar ages.

“Biden just presents as old and it’s not really fair because he is almost the same age as Trump,” Maher said.

“But Trump doesn’t present that way you look at somebody right away you can sum them up," he added.

The comedian didn’t stop at Biden’s age. He went on to describe the president as "cadaver-like," a comment that has since sparked a flurry of reactions online.

“I am sorry but he’s cadaver-like,” Maher said, gesturing to co-host Joy Behar, “We are not young but we don’t present as old.”

Bill Maher’s views on Joe Biden’s potential re-election in 2024

Drawing a comparison to late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Maher argued that Biden should not run for re-election.

“He’s going to be Ruth Bader Biden,” Maher said, suggesting that Ginsburg held onto her position for too long, which he believes ruined her legacy and led to the Supreme Court becoming a right-wing organization.

"She didn't take the hint and she was not in good health and she stayed too long," Maher said, according to Daily Mail.

He added "And she ruined her legacy and got the Supreme Court now to be a right-wing organization. I said Biden shouldn't do that."

Maher explained that despite the political consequences, he's not afraid to speak out against Biden.

"But you know, ego he is Dracula, he has crossed oceans of time to be here and he is not going to give it up now," he said.

"My bond with my audience is you're not going to like everything I say, but you know I'm saying what I really think is true," Maher added.

Bill Maher’s ‘cadaver-like’ remarks on Joe Biden sparks Internet reactions

Maher’s comments on Biden have stirred up a variety of reactions on the internet. Some found humor in his remarks, with one user writing, “Funny. Maher just said Biden refuses to give up power.”

Others criticized Maher, with one user saying, “sorry to say, but Maher also presents old…he’s hitting on the same talking points with no crackle or pace…is it jet lag? Or does the East coast move too quickly for him…"

Despite the mixed reactions, some agreed with Maher’s assessment of Biden, with one user writing, “Pretty fair assessment all round, I’d say.”

"Dems should have chosen someone else," suggested one. "So Maher was worried Trump wouldn't give up power then goes on to say it's Biden who won't give up the power," pointed one.

"So, Biden won't concede? Maher says the quiet part out loud," wrote another.

"'But his brain is good' is something" joked one. "He's Dracula" reacted one humorously. "Maher is a liberal, but not a blind tow the line, party liberal," wrote one.
