The 52-year-old actress shared the exciting news on Instagram on Wednesday, October 14, with a playful video featuring her husband and their 3-year-old twins.
The clip showed the family dancing in the dark with glow sticks attached to their bodies, creating glowing stick-figure outlines. Swank then revealed her growing baby bump, with a tiny glowing figure placed on her belly to hint at the newest addition to their family.
“A lot of people have been asking what project I'm doing next, this one releases in December,” she captioned the video, giving a fun hint about her expected due date.
The 'PS: I Love You' star and Schneider welcomed their twins in April 2023. Swank announced her first pregnancy with the twins in October 2022 during an appearance on 'Good Morning America'.
Swank and Schneider tied the knot in 2018. The actress has previously spoken about becoming a mother later in life and how the timing helped her approach parenthood with more patience and understanding.
In a 2025 interview with Women's Health, she explained that becoming a mom at 47 felt right for her, even though she had not deliberately waited until that age.

Swank has previously shared how motherhood changed her outlook. The actress said becoming a parent later in her career allowed her to be more present with her children.
“I knew I wanted kids someday, but I wasn’t planning what that would look like,” she said. “I know it’s so different for everyone, but for me, if I had had a kid in my 20s or my 30s, I think I’d be a much different parent than I am now.”
She added, “I have that more kind of ability to really give them my attention in a way that I wouldn’t have as much at that point because it would’ve been pulled between the two in a very distinct way. In my career being so established, I have the ability to kind of step in and step out when I choose, and that is just such a blessing.”
