NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: One of the victims of the notorious Club New York shooting—involving rapper Shyne Barrow, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, and Jennifer Lopez—is prepared to go to great lengths to substantiate her allegation that Diddy shot her in the face and got away with it.

Natania Reuben, one of the three victims of the 1999 nightclub shooting in New York City, believes that Diddy is to be blamed for her wounds.

Reuben, 53, stated to guest anchor Brian Entin on News Nation's 'Elizabeth Vargas Reports' on Friday, March 29, that she wants the gunshot fragments removed from her face for ballistics proof as she wants the case reopened, per the New York Post.

The rapper Jamal 'Shyne' Barrow, Diddy, and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez were all taken into custody after a shooting altercation at the now-closed Club New York in Times Square in December 1999.

"I literally watched them pull out the guns, I had a clear point of view. I mean, for God’s sake, I got shot in my nose. I was facing them directly," Reuben said during an appearance on 'Elizabeth Vargas Reports' on NewsNation.

"I watched everything occur and have described it, vehemently to all parties involved. I have nine bullet fragments remaining in my face."

Reuben has always maintained that she witnessed Diddy shoot her in the face, despite the fact that Diddy's accomplice Barrow was the only one arrested.

She remarked, "I give very little credibility to what they’re saying because, while everyone else is Monday morning quarterbacking, I am the survivor. I was physically there."

"Who better to tell you what happened than the person who got shot smack dab in between my eyes."

Following an altercation, Barrow started firing a gun and was found guilty of assault for shooting two bystanders, including Reuben.

Barrow received a ten-year prison sentence. Diddy and one of his employees, Anthony Jones, were found not guilty of any firearms charges, per USA Today.

One of the three victims of the 1999 event, Natania Reuben, wants the ballistics evidence from the gunshot fragments removed from her face so that the case might be reopened.

Reuben stated, "I’m willing to have a doctor remove a part of the nine-millimeter bullet in my face so that they can use it as evidence if need be for this trial, and it may cost me my life."

Reuben has maintained for years that Barrow wrongfully took the fall for Diddy, despite Barrow's admission in court that he fired a gun that evening.

She claimed that the incident, which took place early on December 27, 1999, at the now-closed Club New York, just off Times Square, still left nine bullet pieces in her face.

Gunfire broke out during an argument between Matthew 'Scar' Allen, a Brooklyn drug dealer, and Diddy, who was then known as 'Puffy', along with his group.

Police apprehended Barrow, who was a member of Diddy's crew at the age of 21, as he fled the club brandishing a firearm.

Diddy and Lopez also left the club in a Lincoln Navigator, but police on Eighth Avenue stopped them and took them into custody. Lopez was freed after 14 hours and was never charged with the crime.

Reuben testified at the time, stating, "I saw Mr Combs … pull out a black gun with his right hand," and that she felt like "a flaming hot sledgehammer had hit me in the face."

Reuben expressed her fear of meeting a "untimely demise" despite her confidence.

She declared, "I’m a healthy woman. I live a simple, quiet, risk-averse life. So, if I should meet with an untimely demise, it would require, be worthy of deep investigation. I understand the peril of what I’m exposing my life to."
