LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As part of a continuing investigation into sex trafficking, law enforcement officers from the Federal Homeland Security Investigations and other agencies reportedly raided the homes of rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs on Monday, March 25, in Miami and Los Angeles.

Former NYPD rap intelligence unit ('Hip Hop Cops') officer Derrick Parker told the New York Post, "He has a very questionable past that he’s been able to control because of his power for a very long time," referring to Diddy's history of legal troubles.

"But it looks to me like someone is behind this — someone who really wants to destroy his brand and take him down."

Amid the scene, a perplexed Diddy, aged 54, was seen at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport on Monday afternoon, following the federal agents' interception of his private aircraft on the tarmac.

Authorities might possess a source from Sean 'Diddy' Combs' inner circle

As a private investigator, Parker disclosed to The Post that federal authorities may have a source within Diddy's inner circle.

Parker was alluding to the Homeland Security agents who on Monday conducted an unexpected raid akin to a TV thriller on Combs' residences in Miami and Los Angeles.

Law enforcement authorities, speaking with The Post, alleged that there were accusations of sex trafficking associated with the cross-country journey.

Brendan Paul, aged 25, who was purportedly acting as the businessman's "drug mule," was detained in Miami around the same time on allegations of cocaine and marijuana possession.

It all began nearly one day into the month after Combs' former producer and cameraman, Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, filed a shocking complaint alleging the music mogul had sexually assaulted him on multiple occasions between September 2022 and November 2023.

"Someone’s giving them sensitive information. Someone’s cooperating, and it’s probably someone close to him," said Parker, who was familiar with Diddy from her time working on two of the rapper's most notorious cases in New York in the 1990s.

"This looks, to me, like the tip of the iceberg."

Combs' collapse, according to Parker, was virtually guaranteed after he paid an undisclosed amount to settle a shocking lawsuit, filed in November 2023, accusing him of rape and physical abuse against his ex-girlfriend, R&B star Cassie.

Parker stated, "Once Cassie was paid off I knew there’d be a ripple effect."

Eventually, there were lawsuits from a woman who said Combs had drugged and molested her in 1991, as well as two other women who made similar accusations.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs faced numerous severe claims in the past

Despite facing serious charges in the past, Combs has managed to largely avoid significant consequences for years.

With the formation of Bad Boy Records in the mid-1990s, Diddy was involved in fatal conflicts, both in New York and with West Coast rappers. One such brawl involved the shooting death of his best buddy, Notorious B.I.G.

In 1998, he established the immensely popular Sean John apparel brand, and from 1999 to 2000, he was romantically involved with Jennifer Lopez during the height of her early stardom.

Combs was exposed in April 1999 for reportedly hitting record executive Steve Stoute with a champagne bottle after Stoute used Combs' unapproved video for a music video. The two made up following Combs' payment of $500,000 to Stoute.

Later in the same year, at Club New York in Times Square, Combs, Lopez, and his protege rapper Shyne were involved in an altercation with another patron, which escalated into a shooting incident.

In 2022, singer Aubrey O'Day asserted that she was released from the girl group Danity Kane, which Combs had formed and signed to his Bad Boy Records company, because she "wasn’t willing to do what was expected of [her] — not talent-wise, but in other areas."

Combs' former girlfriend Gina Huynh alleged that he had punched her in the head and stomped on her stomach, while Combs' acquaintance Kimora Lee Simmons once claimed that he had threatened to hit her when she was pregnant.
