Ice-T receives flak online for roasting 'weirdo' Lenny Kravitz's 9-year journey of celibacy
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ice-T found Lenny Kravitz's decision to go celibate almost ten years without making bedtime plans so perplexing that he believed the rock artist had become insane.
The 'It Ain't Over 'til It's Over' singer opened up about why he has been abstaining from sexual activity for a long time, and the married rapper-turned-actor couldn't help but express his disbelief.
Ice-T calls Lenny Kravitz's 9-year-long celibacy decision as 'weirdo s***'
The veteran series regular of 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' turned to X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday, May 30, to mock the rock star, after Lenny shared details about his personal life in an interview with The Guardian.
The married celebrity wrote without holding back, "9yrs without Sex? F that BS. Weirdo s**t." To the statement from an online user that Lenny is on "his journey," Ice-T retorted, "F that Journey.... lol."
The rap artist further added in a following tweet, "Hey….. If you’re a Guy and you can voluntarily go 9yrs without sex… You’re following the wrong page," per TMZ.
One individual retorted to Ice-T's remarks: "Why judge him, though? It’s his choice. I don’t think it’s fair to assume something is wrong with him just because he’s chosen to be celibate for a long period. I think there are many humans who can & do abstain … for various reasons."
However, Ice-T—who has been married to actor Coco Austin for 23 years—refused to back down and responded with a direct: "Shit’s Weird to me….. I love to F**k. A lot."

Lenny Kravitz nearing end of his 20-year vow of celibacy
Lenny recently revealed a profoundly personal explanation for his celibacy: his parents divorced when he was a teenager, and he witnessed his father descend into a playboy lifestyle, which became Lenny's reality once he got divorced from Lisa Bonet.
Lenny reportedly stated, "He'd love to be in a relationship now, but he thinks he might struggle." The 60-year-old artist explained, "I have become very set in my ways, in the way I live."
The singer previously told Maxim that he was "looking at the big picture" and was waiting for someone with the correct "mind and spirit" when he initially disclosed his abstinence in 2008.
Even so, he eventually went back to being celibate, saying the news had been "blown out of proportion."
Ice-T slammed online for roasting Lenny Kravitz's celibacy journey
Married rapper/actor Ice-T has sparked online criticism from social media users as one X (formerly Twitter) user slammed and said, "This is such an odd way to respond. Lenny isn’t hurting anyone by choosing celibacy or imposing his beliefs on anyone."
A second X user remarked, "LMAO? Commenting on someone else's sex life is wild"
"Is it so bad being celibate? Not everyone wants to sleep around," condemned another one.
Another added, "It only got weird when he went public. It got weirder when Ice-T, a legend, had to put his two cents in and hate on another man's spirituality"
"That ain’t got nothing to do with you + nobody cares that you like to f a lot," slammed another.

Others took to Facebook to criticize Ice-T for his remarks with one user saying, "To each its own - Live & let live"
Another one said, "Let him be. It worked for him and it’s working for others as well. You can’t do it, it’s no problem. Do you. He gets my respect."
"Sounds like Lenny can teach ice-T a thing or two," remarked one.
One more added, "His body is his choice. No one has the right to say anything," while another chimed in, "The art of self-control.. crazy!! That’s one strong brother. Ice's wife. Heats on that’s weird"
Another exclaimed, "Wow! Never thought I would see a full-grown man shame another full-grown man, neither of them young, for NOT having sex. This world is crazy."
