NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels, criticized New York City Mayor Eric Adams for what he perceives as overly generous treatment of illegal aliens, particularly in response to a contentious pilot program that involves distributing prepaid credit cards to migrant families staying in hotels throughout the city on ‘Hannity.’

Following this news, Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share Sliwa’s statement against Adams as many people on the internet also shared their views on the issue.

Guardians Angels’ Curtis Sliwa blasted Eric Adams for destroying NYC

Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “Eric Adams is single-handedly destroying this city: @CurtisSliwa.”

The founder of Guardian Angels Curtis Sliwa bashed Eric Adams for “giving illegal aliens everything.”

He said during his appearance on ‘Hannity’ from Times Square, “I’m his number 1 hater. Join the Curtis Sliwa Haters Club of Eric Adams, who is single-handedly destroying this city by giving illegal aliens everything.”

He continued, “They arrive in our city, imagine, you check in your hotel, you get concierge service, and bam! You get a $1,000 debit card that you can use for the whole month. You get more money than any veteran, any homeless person, any emotionally disturbed person in New York City gets. That’s an absolute outrage."

Sliwa, who ran as the New York City Republican mayoral candidate but lost to Adams in 2021, contends that Mayor Adams is prioritizing assistance to migrant families over the needs of the constituents who elected him into office.

He claims, “This mayor just doesn’t seem to get it. He takes care of the illegal aliens, and forsakes his own people.”

Guardian Angels members who stood behind Sliwa during ‘Hannity’ appearance abruptly left the frame, seemingly after noticing someone engaging in criminal activity.

He added as Hannity panned the camera to show the Guardians Angels brawling with a man, “Our guys have just taken down one of the migrant guys right here on the corner, 42nd and Seventh.”

“They’ve taken over, they’ve taken over. It’s out of control.”

Later in the program, Hannity returned to Sliwa to explain the sudden departure of the Guardian Angels members during their live interview.

Sliwa said, “He had been shoplifting first, the Guardian Angels spotted him, stopped him, he resisted, and let’s just say we gave him a little pain compliance. His mother back in Venezuela felt the vibrations.”

He continued, “He’s sucking concrete, the cops scraped him off the asphalt, he’s on his way to jail, but they’ll cut him loose. We’ve got to take 42nd Street back, Sean, these illegals think they own this street. They think they rule the night. This is our country."

NYPD also revealed to Fox News Digital that the man was trying to disrupt Sliwa’s interview.

Internet reacts to Guardian Angels' remarks against Eric Adams

Many X users shared their thoughts after Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa bashed Eric Adams.

One person wrote, “If you live or operate a business in #NYC my only recommendation is; GET OUT!!!!!!” and another said, “He is also helped by Alan Bragg and the New York City Democrat Council.”

An X user simply agreed with Sliwa, “That was a great segment. Adams is more focused on his designer scarf, while Curtis is doing the job Adams is getting paid for. Never give up. Right intentions always prevail,” and another said, “NYC could’ve had Sliwa as Mayor, NYC voters got what they voted for…..a shithole of a city!!!”

One more person added, “Let the rats have New York, sad deal. You know what to do.”
