WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden's biographer, Chris Whipple, branded the current White House the most "scripted" in modern history during a CNN panel discussion on Tuesday, July 9.

Whipple, who authored the 2023 biography 'The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden's White House', interviewed most of the POTUS' close circle over two years with exclusive access to the White House's inner workings.

"I can tell you, having written a book about it, this White House is the most batten down, buttoned up, scripted White House in modern history," said the author to CNN's Abby Philip, according to the New York Post

Chris Whipple reveals he never got to interview President Joe Biden in person or on call while working on 'The Fight of His Life' biography

Raising concerns over the White House's hold on Joe Biden, Chris Whipple revealed that he never got the opportunity to interview the president in person or over the phone during the two-year period.

"When it came to Biden himself, the deal was written answers to written questions. I'd never heard of that before," claimed Whipple.

Weighing in on whether this was a "red flag" for him, the biographer stated the situation could be viewed in two ways: either the White House has "something to hide" or "is just obsessed with controlling the narrative."

CNN's Philip expressed shock at this disclosure, stating, "It's a little bit surprising, a little stunning that someone– you're writing a biography of the president, and he wouldn't talk to you over the phone, on Zoom, anything like that."

Whipple also claimed that a close friend of President Biden wanted him to take a complete neurological exam and release the results to the public.

Concerns over the president's age and cognitive health once again came to the forefront following his dismal debate performance against Donald Trump. On several occasions, Biden appeared confused and unable to find words or form coherent sentences. The White House later said he was suffering from a bad cold at the time.

A defiant Biden has repeatedly stressed that he will continue with his 2024 reelection bid despite calls from within his own party to step aside in favor of a more suitable candidate.

In his July 5 sit down with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, he said only the "Lord Almighty" could persuade him not to compete against Trump.

Internet blasts Joe Biden's White House as his biographer Chris Whipple calls it 'buttoned up and scripted'

Netizens criticized the White House over its apparent lack of transparency as President Joe Biden's biographer Chris Whipple called it the most "scripted" in modern history.

One wrote, "So much for transparency," and another said, "And the least transparent." "This administration is run by kids who think like they are in the book 1984. Remember the tv sets they had him speak from? It is complete dystopia," remarked a person.

An X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, "They are too dishonest to even recognize the truth," and someone else chimed in, "Is that the opposite of most transparent? 'Cause that's what they told us we were getting when they took over from the most transparent administration in history."

"The Biden administration summed up: 'Written answers to written questions,'" stated an individual.
