WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump celebrated his energetic performance in the first presidential debate against President Joe Biden, pointing out his successor's pathetic show.

The 45th President took to his Truth Social platform on Saturday, June 29, claiming his 81-year-old opponent "choked" and was in a "trance" during their first face-off of the 2024 race on June 27 in Atlanta, Georgia, as per the New York Post.

With his raspy voice and multiple falterings throughout the CNN debate, Biden heightened concerns among voters and the Democratic circle on his ability to be in the Oval Office for one more term due to his age. Calls for him to step aside from the re-election bid intensified, with many urging for a younger replacement.

Asserting Biden was the "worst President in the history" of the US and the one trying to jail him for "political gain," Trump wrote, "I watched a man, first hand, 'CHOKE' under tremendous pressure, the likes of which he has never seen before."

The real estate mogul further claimed that "illegality being used by his 'Injustice' Department, the FBI, local Attorney Generals, and DAs" was straining the president. He also took a swipe at CNN, noting the "FAKE" outlet garnered 51 million views, making the debate the highest-rated show in CNN's history.

"This was a 'MONSTER' show, and it could be plainly and openly felt onstage. His speech on Friday was better, and he seems to be coming out of his trance, but AMERICA must ask itself, with all of the many dangers around, do we really want a President who CHOKES? I don't think so!" Trump concluded.

During a campaign rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Friday, Biden displayed greater enthusiasm and energy, qualities that Democrats openly favored compared to his appearance at the CNN debate.

In a separate Truth Social post, he claimed that his successor's poor show undermined his "greatest debate performance."

Despite Biden sending the Democratic party into a frenzy, his campaign chair, Jen O'Malley Dillon, stated in a recent memo that the debate had not changed "the horse race" or the voter's perception.

"Now biden will call for another debate and be yelling and fake energetic the whole time, with a fake angry face," added a user. [sic]

"'Choked'... after having 16 advisors coaching him for 8 days. Trump is being charitable in his assessment," read a response.

"51 million people watched @JoeBiden crumble before their eyes," another person wrote.

"Choked? He acts like this all the time," someone else chimed in.

"No need to say anything… everyone saw it…," another said.

"Sure gives you a second look at justice department conclusion he is to mentally incompetent to stand trial with this . Just saying," read one remark. [sic]
