WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President Kamala Harris became the target of a furious internet mockery as she served another baffling word salad — this time saying during a TV interview that “this is the most election of our lifetime.”

Earlier this week, the 59-year-old Vice President made a special appearance on MSNBC’s 'The Last Word' where she slammed former President Donald Trump’s remarks that migrants were “poisoning the blood of our country.”

But Harris unexpectedly stammered over her remarks as she steered the conversation toward the 2024 presidential election. “You know, every election cycle we talk about this is the most election of our lifetime,” she told host Lawrence O’Donnell, without correcting herself.

“Lawrence, this one is, this one is,” she further remarked, adding “We are literally talking about people who are attempting to divide our country in the most crude, frankly, and profound way."

“We are talking about those who are intent and purposeful to, to attack fundamental freedoms. The freedom to be free from fear of violence and hate … the freedom to just … be. The freedom to just be,” she concluded.

Kamala Harris’ another rambling comment

At other points during the MSNBC interview, Harris continued to confuse some viewers with her rambling comments.

“I have been fortunate and blessed during the course of being vice president to have many situations where it becomes too clear me that there are people… of every age and gender, by the way, who see something about being the first that lets them know they don't need to be, um, limited by other people's limited, um, understanding of who can do what,” she said.

She added that people have "rightfully" perceived Trump's remarks as “similar to the language” of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.

However, this is not the first time when Harris has confused viewers with her baffling word salad.

During a music festival in New Orleans in July, Harris also made headlines for a word salad in which she defined the word "culture" thrice before erupting in her signature cackle.

“Culture is — it is a reflection of our moment in our time, right? And in present culture is the way we express how we’re feeling about the moment,” she told audience members at the Caesars Superdome, according to the NY Post.

Harris has circled back to some of her favorite "word salads," including "what can be, unburdened by what has been."

Internet reacts to Kamala Harris’ comments

Harris’ comments have garnered immense social media attention, with users mocking her for serving up another word salad about the ‘most election of our lifetime.’

“I don't mind a diversity hire who's competent. Kamala is not. Is she a little drunk, maybe?” one user commented on Reddit. “She sounds altered. Did she get into Nancy's vodka stash?” a second user tweeted.

“I remember my first gummy bear.. Sounded just like this,” a third user trolled while a fourth one said, “She’s extraordinarily embarrassing. I eagerly await her departure 🙃🙏.”

“Someone needs to tell her to stop getting drunk when she has interviews planned,” a fifth user mocked. “She’s higher than Willie Nelson on Mt Everest. Biden’s insurance policy,” another one wrote.
