NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: President Joe Biden is set to visit Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, on Friday, where he will deliver remarks on the eve of the anniversary of the January 6, 2021, insurrection.

This move is part of his campaign's strategy to adopt a more assertive stance against Donald Trump and focus the election narrative on the defense of democracy as the election year begins.

Following the news about the event, Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to slam Biden and called his speech “farcical”.

However, her brutal jibes at Biden didn’t go well with the internet as the host faced backlash from her followers on her tweet.

Laura Ingraham calls Joe Biden’s upcoming speech a ‘farcical’

Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “Given how much the Democrats hate George Washington, the notion of a Biden speech at Valley Forge is farcical. Biden renews focus on presidential election with speech on Jan. 6.”

Her tweet presented an article from The Washington Post titled, “Biden campaign amps up focus on Trump, starting with Jan. 6 speech.”

In the article, it was reported that Joe Biden is planning campaign events in Pennsylvania and South Carolina to kick off the election year.

Also, Biden will travel to Valley Forge to give remarks on the eve of the anniversary of the Jan 6 insurrection.

Biden is slated to address the public near a location where militias united to advocate for democracy in the 1770s, and also where George Washington set up headquarters during the Revolutionary War.

This symbolic choice aims to evoke the central theme of his presidential campaign, drawing parallels with events that unfolded some 250 years ago.

On Monday, Biden is set to visit Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, the site where nine individuals lost their lives in a 2015 shooting carried out by a white supremacist.

These two events, along with Vice President Kamala Harris's trip to South Carolina on Saturday, indicate a renewed and energetic campaign effort from the probable Democratic ticket.

This push comes just as Republicans kick off their nomination process with the Iowa caucuses on January 15.

At a time when concerned Democrats are grappling with Biden's diminished approval ratings, age-related concerns, and the absence of a clear alternative for the party, these engagements become particularly significant.

Biden's campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez told the reporters, “Our message is clear and as simple: We are running a campaign like the fate of our democracy depends on it. Because it does.”

Internet slams Laura Ingraham for calling Joe Biden’s speech a ‘farcical’

After Laura Ingraham called out Joe Biden’s upcoming speech as ‘farcical’, many X users slammed the host.

One person asked, “Please provide proof that Democrats hate George Washington. Be specific. I'll wait,” while another called out Ingraham and wrote, “The clown show continues with this Old lier!”

An X user simply said, "Dems hate George Washington"?  Laughable, pathetic...no-longer-relevant ingraham (since her 1/6  texts to Mark Meadows were CONTRADICTED by what she had to say on her show the same night) is on her knees for attention...sad but due.”

One person took a brutal jab at Ingraham and wrote, “Democrats don't hate George Washington. But you hate America,” while another wrote, “More lies from Frau Goebbels.”
