MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Late-night host Seth Meyers commended President Joe Biden for his recent State of the Union address, noting the fervent reaction it elicited from Republicans.

Fox News' Sean Hannity, in particular, drew Meyers' attention for his intense focus on a single phrase from Biden's address.

Meyers pointed out Hannity's fixation on this particular aspect of Biden's performance during his show on the night of March 11.

In the middle of his monologue, Meyers said, "Democrats and the Biden team were clearly pleased by the president’s performance during the speech," referring to Biden's State of the Union address. 

"Sean Hannity was obsessed with one phrase in particular when describing Biden’s performance tonight," Meyers continued. 

Meyers took a moment to highlight Sean Hannity's repeated use of a new nickname for President Joe Biden - "Jacked-Up Joe." This moniker, Meyers noted, marked a departure from Hannity's previous label of "Sleepy Joe."

In a humorous twist, Meyers speculated on the Biden campaign's reaction to Hannity's choice of nickname.

Rather than being perturbed by the new epithet, Meyers jokingly said, "When the Biden team heard Hannity say the words Jacked-up Joe that many times, I bet they said, "Thank you for the kick-ass new nickname." 

He continued, "Biden might be behind Trump in a recent poll by four points, but when you change his name to Jacked-ip Joe, he’s up 45."
