NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Laura Ingraham recently delved into the reasons why voters are not interested in former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley becoming the next president and also stated that the candidate seems more comfortable with funders than voters on ‘The Ingraham Angle’.

Ingraham called out Haley during her monologue titled “Tricky for Nikki.” She took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her take with 4.6 million followers.

Following this, several X users agreed with the Fox News host and lauded her for speaking the “truth” about Haley.

Laura Ingraham dubs Nikki Haley ‘puppet’ of ruling class

Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “LAURA: It's tricky for Nikki.”

Ingraham’s tweet featured her monologue where she said, “On paper, Nikki Haley has a lot going for her: former two-term governor of South Carolina, former UN ambassador to Donald Trump, a businesswoman, a daughter of immigrant parents. It's an attractive political resume, but just ask Jeb Bush how much resumes count in national politics. “

She continued, “The undeniable fact is Republican voters do not trust politicians who claim to be common-sense conservatives when their actual record shows the opposite, and that they side with the same old guard that helped get us into the messes we're in right now.”

She then analyzed the fourth GOP debate, claiming, “Last night's NewsNation debate was a smackdown with both Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy, both populist conservatives, taking on Haley and challenging her real views and record on issues like protecting girls' private space in locker rooms and bathrooms.”

Towards the end of the segment, Ingraham said, “Let's be clear: Haley's problem isn't that she's a woman. If anything, I believe GOP voters would really like a Margaret Thatcher of our own, but Thatcher was her own woman.”

She took a jibe at Haley as she added, “She was never a puppet of the ruling class.”

The Fox News host continued to attack Haley as she concluded the segment, claiming, “Haley, on the other hand, appears to be much more comfortable with funders than with the voters, and the working men and women who make up the base of today's GOP are no longer interested in that type of candidate.”

Internet agrees with Laura Ingraham's remarks against Nikki Haley

After Laura Ingraham bashed Nikki Haley and claimed she prefers funders over voters, many people on X supported the host’s statements.

One person wrote, “Absolutely spot on! Every word of this ‘Angle’ is correct. True recognition of what current Republican mom & pop base is thinking."

The same person continued, bashing Haley as they said, "Nikki is beholden to the DONOR class and that would be a disaster for the next presidential term. 👏👏 “Ingrham Angle”.”

Another X user had a similar opinion, “Perfect take Laura!!! It’s exactly what ppl need to hear, this is where today’s GOP is, it’s about the working class & not being told by elites what to do, say or believe…excellent job!”

An X user simply lauded Ingraham and slammed Haley saying, “@IngrahamAngle Spot on, Laura. Thanks for putting the spotlight on Neocon Nikki so folks that are not as tuned in understand what she truly is and represents,” and one wrote, “I don't want Nikki for president! She's too much of being in war!”

“This is the best Angle I've seen in a while. The MSM, including the NYPost, are praising Haley so glad to see you tell the real truth about her,” said another X user.

Another person exclaimed, “Thank you! I am sick of the media trying to force Nikki on republicans.”
