WASHINGTON, DC: It appears that Taylor Swift continues to be a topic of discussion among politicians. Congressman Tim Burchett recently dismissed the pop singer's influence on the presidential election amid speculation that she might endorse President Joe Biden.

Additionally, politician Marjorie Taylor Greene also weighed in on Swift's relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, stating that she doesn't care about its political implications.

Swift recently attracted attention from political enthusiasts when some prominent MAGA media figures propagated conspiracy theories about the 'Lover' singer.

These theories suggest an unfounded connection between Swift and an alleged psychological operations scheme orchestrated by the NFL and the Democratic Party, aimed at influencing the 2024 presidential election in favor of Biden.

Tim Burchett refutes Taylor Swift's impact on 2024 elections

As reported by TMZ, Congressman Burchett, a prominent figure in the political arena, dismissed the idea of Swift influencing the 2024 presidential elections.

During a conversation with a photographer in DC, Burchett expressed his indifference to a potential Swift endorsement, stating, "Taylor if you're watching this, you left me when you left country music. I'm sorry, I just haven't, haven't been a fan since then. I apologize, but, I can't, can' go that route."

In the TMZ interview, the photographer questioned Burchett, "Is she gonna be impact?" citing the rumors she might endorse Biden.

To this, Burchett asserted, "Unfortunately, young folks don't vote," indirectly hinting at Swift's increased influence on younger people.

The photographer further talked about how Swift has brought up NFL viewership numbers and asked, "You don't think she could do that right now with young voters?"

Burchett shook his head in denial and continued to express his disapproval of Swift, stating, "I haven't watched NFL, I haven't watched a game in years."

Furthermore, Burchett shared his belief with the TMZ cameraman that Swift's activism is merely talk, by suggesting, "But it, you know, that's...all the races she got involved in the last, last, the last cycle didn't do so well. So, in Tennessee especially. So, I, I just don't think. I mean she came out strong against Marsha Blackburn and it didn't go anywhere."
