WASHINGTON, DC: Usha Vance usually maintains a low profile despite being the wife of Vice President JD Vance.

However, her recent announcement of her trip to Greenland has seemingly brewed a storm on the Internet, where fans have been left questioning whether everything is well between the married couple.

In a recent Instagram post, the 39-year-old lawyer announced that she would be visiting Greenland in the upcoming weekend with her children.

While the SLOTUS’ post quickly gained momentum on Instagram, some eagle-eyed fans noticed a glaring detail that led them to speculate whether Usha has a conflict of interest with her husband, whom she married in 2014.

Several fans pointed out a telling detail in the video that Usha shared to announce her upcoming visit to Greenland—where she would be attending the Arctic island country’s national dog sled race and learning about the country's culture.

Since her visit comes on the heels of Trump seemingly declaring his goal to annex Greenland, several users felt that her visit holds more meaning than that.

At least, the background of her video tells a deeper story altogether. Several viewers noticed that behind her in the background, there was a book titled ‘Earth in the Balance: Ecology and the Human Spirit’ by Al Gore.

While the book may seem like a fitting background for the announcement, netizens speculated that the book talks about a principle that largely differs from the Republicans’ basic tenets.

As reported by The List, while the book talks about how people have the power to stop the destruction of the environment, prioritizing the environment is not one of the foremost principles for the GOP.

The outlet further reported that when Vance was campaigning for his vice presidency, he even doubted the benefits of clean energy.

Thus, several viewers speculated whether the Vances are actually in accord about their stance, at least in terms of the environment.

Internet ponders upon probable point of discord in JD and Usha Vance's marriage

The Internet was left wondering about the marital equation between the Vances as they took to social media to scrutinize her Greenland visit.

One of the social media users said, "JD Vance's wife, Usha Vance, showing off Al Gore's book Earth in the Balance about climate change in the video announcing her trip to Greenland, is hilarious. Is she trying to send us a message? Blink if you need help, Usha."

Someone else added, "She’s a smart girl. The book was a disingenuous move. We can save her after she files for divorce."

"She doesn't care about climate change," added another user, before musing, "If she does she needs to leave her husband."

Another user declared, "I feel like we can't go through this again. We can't make excuses for her. She's evil. If she goes to Greenland and doesn't renounce Trump and Vance's statements, then we know all we need to know."

"She needs help whether she realizes it or not. What with who her husband is and who he works for and works with," chimed in another.
