SIOUX CENTER, IOWA: During a campaign rally in Iowa on Friday, January 5, former President Donald Trump mocked President Joe Biden for “stuttering” through a speech in which he cautioned Americans about the perils of a second Trump term at the White House.

Trump chastised Biden for conducting a “pathetic fearmongering campaign event,” which he held to commemorate the anniversary of the January 6, 2021, Capitol building attack.

Biden called Trump "sick" and a "loser" in a speech in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and said "we nearly lost America" three years ago, per DailyMail.

What did Donald Trump say while campaigning in Iowa?

Former President Donald Trump is doing the rounds in the Hawkeye State ahead of the all-important caucus on January 15.

With only ten days remaining, Trump has ramped up his involvement in campaign rallies around the state and has used even sharper rhetoric against his political rivals to rile up his ever-ardent voter base.

The 77-year-old GOP presidential frontrunner responded to the incumbent’s remarks about him and asked the crowd, “Did you see him? He was stuttering through the whole thing. He's going bah bah bah he's a threat to democracy.”

Trump continued, “They've weaponized government. He's saying I'm a threat to democracy.”

The former President imitated Biden’s speech in Pennsylvania on the same day, by pretending to stutter.

“He's a threat to d-d-democracy. He couldn't read the word,” he said.

Additionally, the former president aggressively retaliated against the reporters there, speculating that they would misreport his quips.

“You know how bad the press is? You know what they do?” Trump asked his supporters rhetorically. “They take me saying that, like that, and they say ‘Trump couldn't say the word democracy - look!’”

Internet blasts Donald Trump for overdoing material at rallies

People on X called out the former President for being insensitive and overall saying things that are unbecoming of a president of the United States.

One X user remarked, “A despisable person does this."

"How does this POS even get votes, this is not the first time he has made fun of people with disabilities. Those who vote this man have absolutely no morals," another user wrote.

"This felon is a abominable oaf!" one user said.

One user stated, "Trump has no way to attack the message, so he stoops to attacking Biden personally. This is not how leadership works. This is not how leadership is personified. And before commentators jump on it, Biden did not attack Trump personally, he attacked his actions. If he wanted to attack him personally, he would have mentioned the amateur makeup, the incontinence, and Trump's inability to stand up straight with rocking forward."

Another X user remarked, "Such a child."

One user tweeted: "This man is the best republicans have. Disgusting."
