Internet weighs in on Nicole Malliotakis' claims on Biden admin's border crisis in discussion with Fox News' Gillian Turner

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: New York Republican congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis recently joined Fox News contributor Gillian Turner and shared her views on the recent meeting between the Biden administration and with Mexican president.

Back on December 27, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas met with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador to discuss the ‘unprecedented’ migration crisis as the migrant numbers are breaking records in the US.

Following this meeting, there is expected to be a “reciprocal trip” as a Mexican delegation is going to meet with President Joe Biden at the White House soon as stated by Turner in her conversation with Malliotakis.

While the congresswoman shared her opinion on this issue and brutally slammed Democrats, many YouTube users also expressed their thoughts in the comment section.

Nicole Malliotakis claims democrats are doing ‘dog and pony show’ over border crisis

During a recent appearance on Fox News with Gillian Turner, Nicole Malliotakis sounded off on the Biden administration as the border crisis continues to impact Americans and communities across the country.

The host questioned Malliotakis about the expected upcoming meeting between Joe Biden and Mexico at the White House and “what she hopes to see come out of that meeting”, the congresswoman simply said, “I think this is all show, all talk.”

She continued, “We don’t need to consult with the Mexican government. What we need to do is get our president to rescind the executive orders that he himself put in place.”

“Look, we can certainly work with other countries, but to onus is on the United States with government to secure its borders. If we cannot secure our own borders, what does that say about our country?”

Malliotakis further added, “This is very dangerous. They just hit another 80,000 gotaways this last quarter on top of the 1.7 million individuals that have entered our country undetected but are estimated to be here. That’s not the people claiming asylum, those are the people purposefully sneaking in.”

“Why are they purposely sneaking in? Well, we know Iran is trying to send individuals here to commit terror. They caught somebody on the terror watch list from Iran just the other day at the northern border. We know that the drug traffickers are killing Americans with fentanyl that is streaming over the border and our president does nothing about it,” she exclaimed while slamming Joe Biden.

Malliotakis further continued, “It is so outrageous that the president of the United States would put the drug cartels ahead of the safety of his own American citizens…This can be resolved if we just had the will from the democrats to work with us to do it.”

After Malliotakis expressed her views, Turner commented on the meeting between Mayorkas, Blinken, and Mexico's president, suggesting that her perspective aligns with what Obrador himself conveyed in the meeting: "I see this border crisis as a uniquely and specifically American problem."

Malliotakis shed light on this, adding, "The bottom line here is that this is all for show. He’s trying to demonstrate to the American people that he’s taking action, but in reality, he’s doing nothing."

“This is a self-created crisis by Joe Biden, and now that he’s entering an election year, he’s concerned because the vast majority of Americans including democrats are saying that legal immigration is out of control, the migrant crisis, he’s losing people in cities like New York City and Chicago.”

She concluded, adding, “This is becoming a major political problem for the democrats, and so they’re doing a dog and pony show. And the reality is they just need to reinstate the politics of the previous administration or Chuck Schumer could pass the bull we passed in May and this would be resolved.”

Following Nicole Malliotakis’ stern on Biden admins border crisis, many people on the internet shared their views and agreed with the congresswoman.
