IRAN: Iran has issued a stern warning to the US amid the ongoing conflict between Washington and Tehran. The threat was sent after US president Donald Trump declared that the US “totally obliterated every MILITARY target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island.

As per reports that cited Iranian media, a spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya claimed on Saturday, March 14, that “all the oil and energy infrastructure belonging to oil companies across the region that have American shares or cooperate with the United States will be destroyed and turned into a pile of ashes.”

Trump claims US destroyed 'every MILITARY target in' Kharg Island

The chilling statement was released in response to the US’ attack on Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf. Trump posted on Truth Social, “Moments ago, at my direction, the United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East, and totally obliterated every MILITARY target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island.”

He also noted that “for reasons of decency, I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island,” but added if “Iran, or anyone else, do anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision.”

Trump says Iran cannot defend itself from the US' attack

Continuing further, the Republican leader also asserted how powerful the US military is and that “Iran has NO ability to defend anything that we want to attack.”

“Iran’s Military, and all others involved with this Terrorist Regime, would be wise to lay down their arms, and save what’s left of their country, which isn’t much!” Trump added.

Trump downplays alleged bombing of Iranian school

The conflict between the US and Iran has been going on for weeks. The ongoing war also saw a strike on a Iranian girls school that reportedly claimed the lives of more than 100 young children.

California Governor Gavin Newsom’s wife Jennifer Siebel blasted Trump over the attack. “This is horrifying. A preliminary military investigation found the U.S. responsible for a deadly missile strike on an Iranian girls’ elementary school. At least 175 people were killed, most of them children,” she wrote on X.

“As Trump sidesteps responsibility, parents are now burying their daughters. How does the President explain this to the American people?” Siebel added.

But the commander-in-chief has tried to downplay the attack. He reportedly said, “I think it's something that I was told is under investigation. I will certainly, whatever the report shows, I'm willing to live with that report.”
