Luke Bryan is worried about his career after Riley Strain's death, per reports
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Luke Bryan's career may have taken a beating after student Riley Strain’s death.
According to reports, the country singer's public image was severely damaged after a college student was kicked out of his Nashville bar.
Where did cops find Riley Strain?
On March 8, Riley Strain, a 22-year-old University of Missouri student on a Spring Break trip to the Music City, visited the bar late. Later, authorities discovered Strain's body.
Strain's friends reported that he was last seen at Luke’s 32 Bridge Bar.
A source told the National Enquirer, “Luke sees how this could all blow back on him. It was at his bar where the poor kid got tossed into the street."
"It doesn't reflect well on him!"
A homeless man during the search reportedly said that he spotted Riley near the Cumberland River and saw him almost fall into it.
“Y'all this is scary," the ‘Drunk on You’ singer posted while the search operations were still on. "Praying for his safe return."
On March 22, the Metro Nashville Police Department tweeted, "The body of Riley Strain was recovered from the Cumberland River in West Nashville this morning, approximately 8 miles from downtown."
The mystery around Riley's missing belt
Riley's body was discovered with only a shirt and a watch, while his pants, cowboy boots, belt, and wallet were all absent.
A Family friend, Chris Dingman said, "Everybody we’ve talked to about that as soon as we found out he had a belt on that night was like, ‘Wow, that totally changes the dynamics of why those articles are missing.'"
"Riley had a swimmer’s body. With the belt being on his hips, that would have been even more hard for the pants to come off in the water. It literally would have been snug to him, it would have been riding on his hips," he told NewsNation.
"The belt is a big piece of the puzzle that we now have and once again raises more questions."
Dingman further said, "It’s very brutal on the family right now. We’re at the stage where we want answers. We’re blessed to bring Riley home, but now, we want answers."
