NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Luke Bryan's downtown Nashville bar claims that the missing Missouri college student was served just one alcoholic drink, despite his parents' claims that the establishment had overserved him before his unexplained disappearance.

Riley Strain, 22, had only ordered one alcoholic drink during his visit, according to a statement released by TC Restaurant Group, the establishment's operator and owner, about Riley's disappearance on March 8.

"During Riley’s visit to Luke’s 32 Bridge, our records show he purchased and was served one alcoholic drink and two waters," the group said.

University of Missouri student Riley Strain kicked out of Nashville bar

The declaration from the bar follows Riley's parents' insistence that their son had been "overserved." The stepfather of Strain, Chris Whiteid, told FOX 17 that the bartender claimed he had been overserved. "He was trying to pay his tab."

The senior University of Missouri student was kicked out of the Music City bar, according to the bar, after the security staff "made a decision based on our conduct standards."

"At 9:35 p.m., our security team made a decision based on our conduct standards to escort him from the venue through our Broadway exit at the front of our building," the bar said.

It further stated, "He was followed down the stairs with one member of his party. The individual with Riley did not exit and returned upstairs."

The TC Restaurant Group stated that they are collaborating closely with law enforcement to find the college student who has vanished.

"In our effort to help the Nashville Metro Police Department’s Missing Persons investigation of Riley Strain, we proactively provided detailed information quickly after his visit to our business on March 8. This information included all security camera footage, photos of Riley at our establishment with detailed time stamps, transaction records, and staff accounts," the group said.

"Additionally, we proactively engaged in communication with the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission and will continue to communicate and provide any records needed to aid their ongoing investigation," group went on to say.

Riley Strain reported missing after leaving bar

Following his request to leave the bar, Strain informed his friends that he would return to their hotel, Tempo by Hilton, which is located roughly five blocks from Luke's 32, according to FOX 17.

According to Chelsea Strain, her cousin, his friends reported him missing after they did not see him at their hotel later that evening.

"My family left as soon as they heard the news, along with his dad and stepmom. He is not one to leave and not call anyone," she said.

"I talked to him every week, if not every other day, to check on him. He talks to his mom more than once a day. All of us are worried. My family, along with his dad, stepmom and step-siblings, all just want him home. We want to hold him and love him. We want to watch him graduate in May at Mizzou. He has a bright future ahead of him."

But Strain seemed to head back towards his hotel the moment he left the bar. According to FOX 17, his phone last rang between 10 and 10:30 p.m. in the Public Square Park neighborhood, which is close to the Cumberland River and the sheriff's office.

"This is definitely the worst nightmare," Whiteid said. "He talks to his mom three or four times a day. For him to go this long without talking is not normal by any means."

Internet prays for Riley Strain's safe return

Riley Strain's missing news went viral on social media, netizens started praying for his safe return and well-being. A user wrote, "I bet someone put something in his drink and followed him. Praying he’s found safe and unharmed."

Another user added, "This is tragic, indeed! The young man may have been drugged and left to fend for himself. Praying for a positive outcome for him and his family."

A third commentator further mentioned claiming Riley Strain was drugged, "Somebody put something in that young man’s drink. Unless they pre game which most ppl do before they go out but if not he def was drugged one drink doesn’t make you a bumbling stumbling individual."

"He most likely drank in other establishments before entering Luke Bryan’s bar…or someone intentionally drugged and followed him out to harm him," a fourth user said.

Riley has vanished, and the authorities are requesting that anyone with information get in touch with them at 615-862-8600.
